Since 2/15/2015 PSU is 122-2 with loses to ASU and Iowa in the 2019-2020 season.  Both of those were road matches.  PSU has not lost at home since Iowa 2/8/2015.  That match was in the Bryce Jordan Center.  PSU has not lost in Rec Hall since Minnesota 1/25/2015.

If PSU makes it to 2/8/2025 without taking a home loss it will mark a decade since their last defeat in Happy Valley.

When was our last Best families in wrestling thread?  Have we had one yet on the new forum?  @Wrestleknownothing maybe a fun project for you.  @cowcards & @Jason Bryant must have the data on this

I’ve actually started adding in family relations to my database so this can be easily researched. Unfortunately, it’s going to be quite a while until I get my next update done. It’s quite massive. One of these days I may learn how to do small incremental updates instead of so much at one time.

Great stuff cowcards.  Was curios if you have the Smith's and Perry's as one family or are you only using the paternal line?

I would have them as one family.

Impressive. Fans gotta at least make some noise for that. I mean come on, PSU peanut gallery.

I'm not a huge fan of Stanford in the ACC, but their upcoming schedule looks pretty fun. And by fun I mean also brutal. That's a tough slate of wrestling ahead for the Cardinal!

Stanford should have one of their best teams ever.

125: Provo (good chance to AA)

133: Knox (beast of east champ and  2X NHSCA champ)

141: Aden Valencia (AA threat)

149: Abas (AA a couple years ago)

157: Cardenas (returning AA)

165: Garvin (returning AA)

174: Norman (beat Shane Griffith last year)

184: Not sure

197: Stemmet (3X qualifier)

285: Not sure

Cardenas and Valencia are Redshirtting and it appears that at least one of those gents might not even be the #1 at the weight soon.

One of Cardenas / Valencia might not be #1 at their weight or one of the other guys?

Norman.  Monteiro is doing well.

I think Stanford may be punting this year. I've heard Cardenas is red shirting and Valencia did not wrestle off Miranda publicly which I believe would have been the true wrestle off for the spot. They return everyone aside from Stemmet and Abas next year, but I think by next year EJ parco may be even better than Abas.

Excited to see what the entrants look like for the clarion open. Mccort brought nearly half their team last year and Blaze also went. I believe it is on Ohio states schedule as well as purdues so we could get some really fun matches.

FWIW, Flo and wrestlestat say one AA (Garvin), or two if Cardenas is not a RS.

Certainly a possibility, but as an optimist, I think Provo, Knox, Norman, Abas, Stemmet and Monteiro are all day 2 guys at NCAAs and that is points and the possibility of AA. I was more referring to them as a dual team in the sense of their best team ever. People are sleeping on Knox, but having 6 or 7 guys in the top 20 is pretty dang good for them. With Valencia and Cardenas taking redshirts, it sure changes things.

A lineup with Cardenas, Garvin and Valencia is a good dual team, especially when you sprinkle in those other guys. Now, I am far less optimistic with the info that NHS67 graciously shared. Program insider?!?

Not for Stanford.  I just scour the intranets, read the forums, twatters, etc.  The offseason isn't the offseason if you know where to look.
