What is going on with Schultz?

Even if the B1G heavies take turns beating each other and they all have at least one loss, if not two for one or two of them, they’d all have to be seeded above him at NCAAs.

He's taken a couple of puzzling losses.  Starting to look more like an 8 seed than a 2 seed.

It’ll be interesting to see him against Fernandes next week. He pinned him at NCAAs last year.

Glory feels the 133 lbers are too big to mess with, while at the same time being unable to cut enough to make 133.

If Glory wrestled 133 without making 125 it would take a 'four week descent' plan for him to be allowed to wrestle 125.

Hahaha. Weehawken, you've got a chip on your shoulder … or rather a Burr up the ass for Glory.

This is why I have a feeling we may see a 'light' 133lb Glory for a few weeks.  Weigh in low enough to be able to make 125 within a week or two, but still test the waters at 133.

If he were to commit to going 133, he is strong enough I think he could do it on a rather short notice.  The only guy he needs to worry about at EIWAs is Arujau.  EIWAs did get two (2) allocations at 133 last season, so I imagine it will be at least that with Arujau moving up from 125.  Ergo, I think he steals an AQ if he goes 133 with relative ease.

I think he knows he's the one to beat lee in dramatic fashion (like Caldwell over Metcalf)  and yeah, no one wants to weight in light for important evens becase of weight loss rules.  I think he would have won 133 here but would have sort of been giving up on being a 125 pounder.

Three (3) West Virginia wrestlers MFF out, including Peyton Hall.

Ugh. I was looking forward to Cardinale vs Courtney at 125. Courtney won 3-2 in NCAA quarterfinal last year.

Lee - Ayala is the 'expected' finals at 125lbs.

Ayala defaults this one, yeah?

Oops.  We blame the Brands Bros for confusing me there, yeah?  These gents should also be at the Midlands.  Unacceptrical.

Lee gassed hard against Volk. On his way off the mat he tossed his headgear and appeared to say "I'm out/done".

Anybody else on the planet see Pitzer doing that to Schultz and Hillger in successive matches?  Not just doing it but how he did it?

So final match of the tournament.

True Frosh Pitzer of Pitt VS Davison of Northwestern.

Whoever wins gives their team the Midlands title.

Cool.
