LEHIGH's intrasquad match is scheduled for Thurs. 10/24 @ 7pm in Leeman-Turner Arena @ Grace Hall.

Not the end-all be-all for the final lineup to start the season, but we could see some of the young up-coming wrestlers on center mat.
A nice possible matchup could be Luke Stanich, returning AA vs  veteran and rnd of twelve wrestler Malyke Hines. (Stanich may be taking a RS year, as far as we know... )

Stanich going from 125 to 141?

That is pretty dope.

I had three severe grade three concussions in the span of a single year.  I'm not sure if it was that, or the lead paint in the walls of my room, but I think my personality was forever changed after that.  Concussion is a good reason for a break.

As a devils advocate, it would be something that might be easy to fake for a medical forfeit if needed

I was talking with someone last Saturday who was telling me that his 17 year old son just got his 5th concussion playing football the day before and that he couldn't even speak English afterwards. He then followed it up with "but it's not that bad." I informed him that it in fact sounds very bad and that his son probably has brain damage. He went on to explain that his kid wasn't really that smart before the concussions so it's no big deal. Father of the year material.

Given that he did the Glory School Method of cutting to 125 (😏limited wrestling dates😉) last season... he may do 133/141 this season. The wish-list of seeing him go up to 141 for a match-of-the-evening closer at the LU Intrasquad wrestle-offs would be quite intriguing indeed.

Will it happen? We'll see on 10/24.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Now if Stanich comes out and destroys him, what happens?  To be clear, they're teammates so I doubt there will be any sort of destroying going on.

Does Hines then wrestle Griffin?  Loser there wrestle Brignola?  Loser there wrestle Dubler?  Or do they just do a lineup shift for what is best for the team?

Well, you can't have that, but if you're an American citizen you are entitled to:

Meza and Grice split at 125. No Redding-Frost, Ech-Paniro, Riggins-Tate Naak

Redding, Johnson, Swiderski, Chittum, Gaitan, and Riggins are all dinged up or in some way unable to participate in the wrestleoffs...

You can be guaranteed you will see the best 4th string vs 5th string matches you have ever seen. Heck, you might even see intramurals at this one.

Campbell wrestle offs 10/26…unless of course the AD threatens to remove housing from anyone who decides to participate or something insane like that…

Was anyone surprised to see Terukina up at 133? In my mind, he's small for the weight and I figured ISU would have a stronger lineup with him at 125. Does that mean their (other) kid from Cuba is won't be RS this season? His name escapes me atm but he beat Richie Figs at Junior Pan Ams a while back.

Surprised by looking at him? yes

Surprised after listening to Dresser's commentary over the years about Terukina's lifestyle and lack of commitment to cutting weight responsibly? No
