Joe is stepping down. What say you.

It is the right thing to do at the wrong time.

But I am of two minds on this.

He erred tremendously by not allowing for a viable candidate to emerge from the primary process. Whoever winds up as the Democratic nominee will likely need to address whether they are legitimate. On the other hand, I am not a huge fan of the extended nature of our elections. Perhaps the Democrats will benefit from a shortened process, whatever that process winds up being.

Agree with all of this.

The selection process could get messy in a very public way.

Has there ever been a deeper four years of election drama than the past four.  Can’t possibly think so.

I think this election season wins hands down. No contest.

Here comes the battle. If Kamala doesn't get picked it could be World War 3.

My bet is it is someone who did not run in the primary.  Everyone knew his brain was soup and that Kamala is unelectable.    Given that….   Michelle or hillary.

Some states have deadlines for getting on the ballot that fall before the convention.  If Kamela isn’t chosen will she resort to the 25th Amendment?

You would have thought Joe Biden would have remembered Ruth Bader Ginsberg when she refused to stepdown giving President Obama a good chance of getting a progressive Supreme Court Justice on the Court.

Kamala molded her vp style this term after Julia Louis Dreyfus.     She’s less popular than Biden and will lose.

This is going to get really messy. Guaranteed.

Are you being cynical?

Nah, everyone has their price. Maybe a $50M “book deal.”

Also a huge Library in his name in Delaware.

It won’t.

Any legal challenge by the republicans would

1) fail

2) alienate moderate suburbanites

And they know this. It’s a last ditch bluff to try to scare Biden into staying.

This race just became competitive again.

That's wishful thinking and highly unlikely.  She's from California.  That doesn't play well in the Midwestern states that Democrats have to sweep to win the election

There's only one Dem name I've heard that can win and that Gretchen Whitmer from Michigan.

Biden arguably speaks better than Kamala.   This will be a circus.  I live in Chicago may leave town for the convention shyte show…. Protests.   Likely riots.   Antifa.  The pro terrorist crowd.  They are all gonna show.
