Looks like he’s gonna be the guy for the postseason right?

I didn’t realize Flo actually already had him in their rankings even before this weekend (but Intermat has Hill)

He only has 3 matches so he can still keep the redshirt - correct?

If so, how many points will he realistically score at the NCAA to help Iowa? Is that number worth pulling the redshirt?

I’d be shocked if he beat any of the top 4, but 5-8 is certainly possible IMO.

Possibly.  He has a chance to start next year in football and if he ends up being a NFL prospect are we sure he'll spend another four years in college?

Sure, I speak fluent Brands. Let me help.

Brands: "Weren't ready. Weren't ready...you have to be ready, like beyond ready. If you just think your ready and you think its normal, its not normal."

Translation: I wasn't ready.

Brands: "And that's not me putting them on a pedestal, that's not me conceding anything."

Translation: We never stood a chance.

Brands: "I like our guy."

Anyone else surprised no reporter asked Tom when he was stepping down?

Instant legend to the guy who asks that. No way it doesn't cause a meltdown. Only thing better is if one of his starters asks him that question in the middle of a practice.

What if Spencer Lee asks him and stares at his watch waiting for an answer

I don't think that kid is a good enough football player, or big enough, to realistically go to the NFL early. He may develop into an NFL prospect though, with time. Plus, I don't think there is much chance he ends up being a starter next year for the Hawkeyes in football, he's relatively puny for a lineman.

It'll be interesting watching him at B10s if Brands goes with him. He'd have to place decently to quality for NCAAs with so few matches under his belt, right?

Man, that seems kinda dicey. I'm not sure Keuter can finish that high and it would burn his RS. He's got potential, Brands should roll with somebody else and let Keuter keep the RS.

He’s not a lineman. Linebacker

Oh. Well he's big enough for a LB. My bad, I thought he was an offensive lineman.

He would need to put on about 80 pounds to be a Big 10 offensive tackle haha.
