He's been wrestling better than ever why do you think he's better this year? Seems like he's been the same wrestler for awhile. "Half measures are a coward's form of insanity."
Ohio Elite Posted February 1 Posted February 1 We'll see come Ncaas. I hope he wins one but who knows.

I felt like last year he was either injured or a bit flat, but looked worse than previous years. Seems to me like he is more aggressive against guys who he might have caged up against in the past. I could be wrong though.
PSULou64 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) As long as he's got his PhD to go with it after 7 years I'm ok if he earns a championship. Edited February 2 by PSULou64 Grammatically incorrect 1
Truzzcat Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Vito seems to be a bad matchup for Daton having won their last two meetings once in freestyle once in folk. While im not saying its impossible for Daton to beat him I think he'd need Vito to be off which we've seen happen. I do like Daton against crookham as well as nagao and ragusin. Ragusin is a guy I could see posing Vito issues he reminds me a lot of Latona with his body type but I think he punishes errant shots better than Latona and is much quicker to the corner. 1
KCMO2 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Vito is the only guy I think could beat Fix, and he seems pretty vulnerable now. He had to come back to beat Mizzou's Moore (24th ranked) on Sunday 10-9. 1

I'm not saying he is or isn't better this season than in the past. BUT, if he has improved, I'd point the finger at Coleman Scott. Seems like Ok St. lightweights overall are performing better than in recent past. 1

peanut Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Interestingly, Fix has a world silver — which IMO is more impressive than an NCAA title. 1
