It tells the history of the sport and even goes to the location where Abe Lincoln wrestled Jack Armstrong in 1831 in New Salem, Illinois. ... and to the hometown of Frank Gotch, world heavyweighr champion back in the 1911-1915 era. Curran Jacobs, captain of the Michigan State team in 2012 and winrer of four major catch tournaments, is the star and director. He and Mike Chapman wrote the sciprt. Curran has a degree in theater arts from MSU and has appeared in five movies, while Chapman has written 32 books, 17 about wrestlng. It shows how small wrestling was in CA back in the late sixties into the seventies. Acting was very good. The wrestling scenes were pretty well done. I recommend it. That "man" is none other than LEHIGH's JON TRENGE!!! An EXCELLENT movie documentary on how he managed wrestling after having a detached retina. Which happened towards the end of January of the dual season, prior to the post season during his RS frosh year. 3X EIWA champ... 3X AA going 2,2,3... If he didn't have the detached retina happening then, Jon would 've most likely been a 4X AA, let alone a possible 4X EIWA champ. He was that good. It was about Jeremy Hart's senior season in his quest from State College HS in PA, in his quest for a PIAA title. The trailer looked really good and had his vioice over saying "what would if do if i wasnt wrestling... I dont know..." It's still a solid watch, though, if for no other reason than to see the inner working of the St. Eds program.
