AJ Ferrari to 197

He's currently weighing 205 so he's definitely going 197 and not heavyweight.  Brooks vs Ferrari will be an epic final.  Who is favored?

I have to go Ferrari since he's coming down from 225 pounds and Brooks is going up from 184. Brooks is already short/small for 197 and there's close to a 30 pound difference in natural size between the two men.

JC reminds of this guy -- "parity boy" ... Rich somebody ... Jason Bryant would know -- who used to haunt the virginiawrestling.com discussion board in the late 90's/early 00's. This guy was legitimately sick and needed help. I won't presume to know what's wrong with our guy, but JC is the same in that his shtick is pathological. He asks questions, creating the illusion that some conversation with him might ensue. But, no. No dialogue, just the eternal recurrence of the same.

Dont forget @Jimmy Cinnabon has a pathological end goal.  Brooks beats AJ.  Even if at minimum 1/2 the board predicts a Brooks victory Jimmy will come on here pretending like it was a shock followed by his typical blabber

Yeah, Idk. That's the deal with this sorta behavior: his input might not be toward some rational end. The input is the end.

I mean Delfino was loony, but he wasn't pretending like he was having a conversation.  BigApple was monological, but again he didn't pretend not to be. Same with KentuckyMudflap and he was funny. LIMarty was more than willing to have a conversation, a real conversation; he just had the same conversation over and over.

This guy is weird.

Brooks no question.  Better coaching, better consistency, he may even look bigger when they step on the mat.  “Personality” discussion aside, one has many titles, and competed for a world team spot last year, the other has been busy healing from serious injuries, which has a major impact on stamina, muscle mass set point, and power output.  People will say this is crazy, but to me Ferrari looks small.  When he won his freshman year he did it largely bc he cut an insane amount of weight and could out-horse and then out-split the competition.

I don’t see the patented headbutt double working on brooks, and I more realistically question if they even get the opportunity to meet, brooks isn’t the only tough guy at 197.

Love how the God and Jesus junk comes out so easily.

I think he’s just trolling Brooks.

Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.

All will be forgiven by the Hawkeye faithful once he takes the mat in the black and gold...

True - although wouldn’t be the first fan base to be forgiving: PSU - Andrew Long, ISU - Echemendia, I’m sure others as well

He was on these boards not too long ago….at least I’m about 99% sure same guy

and I called him parity boy in a post back then and he adopted it….

jimmy while irritating is less harmful imo. His trolling actually inadvertently leads to decent wrestling conversation some of the times he posts with dumb topics.

We all know Jimmy is a Penn State fan (even Wkn knows)  thus understand what he is doing here.

I’d give Ferrari a small chance of winning, but you asked who the favorite was, and that’s Brooks next topic.

yeah for sure. It was obvious Ferrari was getting better fast his sophmore year, starting to look like he could take out anyone, but to my knowledge he hasn't had a stable training sitution in more than a year. We're supposed to think he passed up brooks in that time?

If AJ is only 205 then him and Brooks will be around the same weight, AB said he's around 205 now around Final X. There's a reason AB moved up. He's one of those "thick" wrestlers. AJ will have a strength advantage (as well as flexibility) AB will have the speed advantage.

Combined with his technical superiority and coaching advantage (everyone knows what AJ is going to do to try to win), I'm going AB.

Not that AJ isn't a formidable opponent, people predicting majors (even with 3 point takedowns) are delusional but I am pretty confident AB wins.
