What a bunch of champs these Hawkeyes are! Their #1 and #2 ranked guys were both gifted wins.

Not gifted, but just squeaked by opponents they should have been pushing for bonus against

Good thing this isn't at CHA. The cries of stalling against Iowa wrestlers might prove a bit embarassing.

can you explain the joke. not being aggessive but are you implying that ISU is getting calls or that iowa has a legit advantage based on crowd/ref dynamics?

Wow so close...need tenths

Which brings up the question, how long is "reaction time" anyway?  I think Chittum had "control" as the clock went to zero, but not enough time for reaction time

Does Brands get more credit for Franek's win or for Chittum's loss?

Chittum has more time training in Iowa City than Franek does......

Great point

Dresser's definitely gonna regret that

I was surprised he didn't challenge in the moment, but looked like the correct call after rewatching

Is a non-reaction actually a reaction?

If I have to explain it isn't a very good joke.

So Chittim gets a TD in regulation but he didn't allow enough time for Franak to react?

When it comes to screaming, "stalling" that's what they bring to the table...

ISU last had a home sellout crowd for wrestling on 2/19/1982... 14,507 then.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

And what about the crowd's reaction time to the apparent TD?  It was better than the ref's non-reaction to the action on the mat.  Hmm. Maybe it was just all an act to elicit online re/action
