Very interesting read. I’m going to be honest I stopped when he got to LibsofTikTok. (Was understanding his main point by then anyway)

Personally agree with a lot of what was written. Don’t know so much of liberal/progressive and what not in terms of definition, but the differences in beliefs and ways on the left in there I can certainly see.

I think it’s important for the right to have the same conversation.

IMO, he just throws out a bunch of unsubstantiated,  overarching accusations that happen to coincide with the emergence of Barack Obama.

from where i sit, it's pretty spot on. all those things are happening. and it's nonsensical.

frankly, it's what drove me to the other side.

It's pretty rich to complain about "illiberal" progressives when the right's number one obsession right now is firing people who believe things they don't agree with.

it's ok to critique within one's own party.

and it's a fair assessment. progressive and liberals are pretty distinct and yet under 1 umbrella (as far as voting goes). the more the whack job progressives push their nonsense, the more liberals become disenfranchised.

and as far as 'the right's #1 obsession' - wtf are you talking about.

1) can you point me to the mass firings from people on the right for ideological differences

2) do you recall how many people were fired/banned/canceled by leftist/woke companies for the same thing?

I think this is mostly true.   Anyone else have an opinion.

Most liberals I know want nothing to do with that progressive/woke crap. A few even consider themselves centrists or conservative now.

Woke and logic don't mix.

Look at all the censorship in Florida education policy as an example: https://www.edweek.org/policy-politics/whats-with-all-the-education-news-out-of-florida-a-recap-of-education-policy-decisions/2023/08#:~:text=The original “Parental Rights in,to grades K through 12.

You have to sign a loyalty oath to Israel to work for the Texas state gov.

Several examples of gay teachers being fired.

Can you point to "mass firings" by "woke companies?"

that's weird for sure. apparently 34 states have some 'solidarity' rule like it.

that being said, im not seeing 'people on the right firing personnel en masse due to ideological difference'.

when you said it, i thought you were going to reference the law firm that said they wouldn't hire Pro-Palestinian Harvard students.

for what it's worth, i wouldn't either. not because of ideological differences, but because i wouldn't have confidence in their critical thinking skills.

Hmmm...man...people sure like to twist things.  Progressive now have a problem with policy that makes sure people don't discriminate...who knew?!?!

And love the attempt to show that teachers got fired because they were gay...shhhh....people may actually get fired for things they did that were fireable offenses, and has nothing to do who they choose to sleep with/love.  🙄

there's a new video of some whacked out woke ass elementary teacher everyday on social media bragging about how he/she pushes sexuality in their classroom. (and they don't get fired)

to each their own, but i wouldn't be sending my kid to public school.

Ain't seeing these folks cancelling culture through legislatures,  but I sure see conservatives and authoritarians doing it.

I can't believe the 30 percenters have zero self-reflective abilities.  The first thing I'd do is delete that tweet, once I realized that it was my kind who were doing all of those things.

You haven't provided a single example of liberals doing this either

I bet ( and hope) that she's doing that! It's called sex ed,  something that authoritarian cancel culturists now prohibit.

Same guy who complains about Palestinians using violence says this about their attempt to secure their rights peacefully lol.

Perfect example of why people turn to Hamas. It's completely clear that there is no current avenue to justice through legal and/or peaceful means.
