Pat Minnow just tweeted something very interesting. Apparently Siebrecht, Cass, Brands, Assad suspended for the entire season due to gambling allegations.

And while I would like to join in and laugh at him right now, we are also dealing with a minnow said on the other side of the argument.  will be curious to see which one has more integrity

No Iowa wrestlers will be charged or be suspended as a result of this.  Book it.

Wouldn't this mean that Cass, Brands and Siebrecht are done or do they get a get out of jail free redshirt?

Siebrecht redshirted 2020, free year 2021, so I think even with a suspension for the entirety of 2024, he would have one year remaining.  As it stands, both Cass and Nelson Brands would be done.  However, they have all filed appeals.  For all we know, one or all of these guys have a valid alibi and it could be that this is recognized during the appeals process and all goes back to normal.  Likely wishful thinking, but it remains a possibility.

Not seeing much pushback on Mineos claim even on HR.  Seems legit.  Sad for those guys.  @Wrestleknownothing are you still compiling data on @Jimmy Cinnabon fails

That was basically the same thing that HR was saying, so most likely correct or close to it.  But it wasn’t “released”

There will be no missed matches for Iowa wrestlers as a result of gambling.

Just quoting this part for good measure in case he tries to claim he was right about no criminal charges.

I’m sure Jimmy will quickly pivot to “the Brands brothers need to be fired and Spencer Lee named head coach in order to restore the Iowa dynasty”
