Plasmodium, these are all referendum questions, nothing to do with someone’s capacity to responsibly exercise their right to vote.

DC should not be a state. It was set up the way it is for a reason…. Otherwise, they would’ve made it a state… or left the capital in NYC or Philadelphia.

Yes, marijuana laws should be left to the state.

To be fair there’s a whole lot of questions being thrown out that are more issue questions, not civics questions. But the  idea of a test is a fantasy anyway so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Obviously, we can’t even expect people to be smart enough to get a photo ID, without considering it voter suppression.

Can an organisation of any kind continue deficit spending indefinitely?

Historically, it has not happened.  But they keep trying.

What issues? Things seem swell. But, seriously, Americans are the biggest complainers. We are literally living at the best time in the best place in the 6,000 year history of our universe.

Do people who wear tin foil hats take them off when they shower?

Geez, Bob, showing your age… they haven’t made tin foil since the 1940s. It’s aluminum foil now, and we have permanently suspended the use of said hats due to aluminum’s link to Alzheimer’s and autism… sort of like vaccines.

If an organization pays millions of dollars to the election campaign of politicians, is it reasonable to assume the politicians will prioritize the needs of their constituents over the organization that funded their political campaign?

yes, and it happens. on both sides.

If the court system is unethically packed by one political party, is it unethical for a different political party to repack it in their favor?

it wasn't packed. but norms right?

This pretty much has happened.   Same with hard drugs.  OR passed an initiative (vote of the people) that legalized use of hard drugs.   WA did the same when the legislature failed to pass a bill to fix a law struck down by the SC.   So for 2 years hard drug use was not illegal in WA.   They just passed a bill and it was signed that makes it a gross misdemeanor to possess or use hard drugs.   Seattle voted not to abide by that so all drug use is essentially legal there.   The Feds have shown no interest in enforcing federal law on this topic.

When it comes to federally legal vs state, it has to do more than just the cops enforcing it. There’s issues on the business side of things that it makes a difference.

When I go to dispensary it’s cash only, because the banks won’t deal in marijuana money because they are federally regulated.

When you are a cash only business that brings in extra security items that need to be addressed, etc.

white house spin zone incoming

A lot of people say we need to reduce the world’s population… they are just feeling out the public’s appetite for genocide.
