Expand Why would Amine go 174? He's been 165 all 4 years so far, and he just beat Griffith at natties. Griffith should bump up, and when he does he'll be lucky to AA at 174.

I agree Griffith to 174 makes more sense, FWIW, but Amine beating him at NCAAs has nothing to do with it. Edit: Also, ThugMassa G went 174lbs while weighing in at 170 for most meets. KCMO2 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 He's placed progressively lower at 165. 1st, then 2nd, now 5th. It's hard to see any improvement from him, and I don't think bumping up a weight class will help.

O’Toole of course wasn’t in the bracket when Griffith won it, and of the 3 other guys that finished ahead of him this year, 2 of them weren’t in the bracket last year
