Carr impressive getting to KOT's legs tonight. In on double, waterfall, scrables, to one leg, working close to OOB, scrambling scrambling, Carr with KOT's leg shelved, trying to bring action inboungs, cradle locked. 2 Carr!

Askren is going to tee off on this ref. The constant talking to the wrestlers and then making sure to tell them good luck at nationals… Man just do your job and then head off the mat. You don’t need to be a part of this instant classic match.

Good match.  Seems like Carr can get to O'Toole's legs mostly when he wants to.  Can't see a rematch going the other way.

Yeah, I couldn't believe how easily Carr was getting to KOT's legs! Dude made it look easy.

Everybody assumes Spencer Lee deserves the Hodge but he's barely wrestled and there isn't much talent at 125. If Carr runs the table through a BRUTAL 165 he deserves it and Parris could also make a great case.

Hard to argue, but...

Not gonna happen unless Carr and Parris pin out through NCAAs and Spencer doesn't.

O'Toole lived on those exchanges.  His only problem is he found his Chris Pendleton

When was the last time Lee pinned anyone?  When did he last pin a NCAA champ?

Refs at 157 and 165 were super talkative.  I don't like it.  Just call things correctly.

I did think both refs got the calls right.

Wow. That was some patient work for the pinfall

On both takedowns he was so patient.  Never slow enough to get stalemated, but never fast enough to give O'Toole much to scramble with.

First off I'm a Mizzou fan. So biased. But how is that not two in first for Keegan and how is that ever two for Carr in the third. But that was a nice takedown in OT.

For sure. Thought he made the right calls. I just don’t like when refs become so chatty on the mat. Just do your job, make your calls, and run off when you’re done. Anything else seems performative and like you want to be a bigger part of the match than you are.
