A whereabouts suspension is not the same as a no-show. A no-show or refusal counts as a positive test. But I'm sure you know that, right?

Both add up to three strikes, so is there a difference? Do you feel the same about Evan Boyle, Fred Kerley, Penny Oleksiak, Alysha Newman, Tobi Amusan?

1) The same was said about Sandusky. How did that turn out?

2) "It's a nothing burger" - allegations about Starocci. Where has he been again?

3) Snyder, Brooks, Gilman all popped recently. The accusations surround Taylor's second puberty and Kasak exist as well.

Guys I'm starting to think that maybe, given the overall track record, State College, PA and Penn State University might just have a bit of correlated problems and a sweep-under-the-rug mentality. And it isn't exclusive to State College/PSU.

So you're saying we should just assume guilt?

As far as icky wrestling news in the last two years, Happy Valley has the lion's share. It's pretty obvious some unscrupulous stuff is happening there. Not uncommon in sports unfortunately.

But they is not all facts.  That's the problem with listicals designed to show a pattern, you start throwing in things that aren't facts to bolster your claim.  Snyder and Davis are facts.  Brooks is partially true.  The rest are not "facts".

The latest teaser of an allegation is very serious.  I'm thinking "Wow", but then I'm thinking that if all this was shared on a google drive, others would have heard about it, including Bartlett and McHenry, who would have made a point of it.  Also, does "over 50" seem like a pretty high body count?  I'll wait for more "facts".  I think it's a little early to shut down the program.

That is exactly what happened with Sandusky, without any evidence whatsoever.

1. No charges ever filed against CStar. Seems like Bartlett and his old lady were just a couple of malcontents.

2. The McHenry stuff is sad and that guy is clearly experiencing a mental breakdown.

3. Snyder and Brooks aren't on the PSU team.

4. Kassak allegations are meritless and he hasn't failed a drug test.

5. If Palacio had anything serious, he would be using it to engagement farm. He is not a serious person and should be ignored. If he had anything at all and wasn't reporting it to the police, wouldn't he be in violation of safe sport? If the police had 50 accusers, there would be charges. If there were 50 accusers, there would be civil lawsuits underway. Palacio isn't miles ahead of the story, there just isn't a story. He is full of shit and anyone with a semblance of neutrality can see that.

Correct.

No evidence and a small mountain of evidence are drastically different…. what you think of that big ol cocaine bust that just occurred   Prolly selling it to townies and not psu kids I bet

from the Google machine

there was extensive physical evidence and documentation found at Penn State University (PSU) proving that university leaders were notified about Jerry Sandusky’s child abuse years before his 2011 arrest. [1, 2]
While the university originally claimed it knew nothing until the 2011 grand jury indictment, a landmark 2012 independent investigation led by former FBI Director Louis Freeh unspooled a trail of internal documents, handwritten notes, and emails. These records proved that top university officials deliberately concealed the allegations to avoid bad publicity for the university and the football program. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
The primary evidence discovered at PSU includes:

1. The 1998 University Police Investigation Records
In May 1998, a mother reported to the Penn State Campus Police that Sandusky had behaved inappropriately with her 11-year-old son in the showers of the Lasch Football Building. Campus police fully investigated the incident, interviewed Sandusky, and compiled a report. [1, 2]
  • The Concealment: Top administrators—including Athletic Director Tim Curley and Vice President Gary Schultz—were documented tracking this police investigation closely. Ultimately, local prosecutors declined to file charges, and university leaders chose not to restrict Sandusky's access to campus. [1]

2. The 2001 Mike McQueary Email & Handwritten Note Trail
In February 2001, graduate assistant coach Mike McQueary witnessed Sandusky abusing a boy in the Lasch Building showers and reported it to head coach Joe Paterno. Paterno passed the information up to Curley and Schultz. [1, 2]
  • The Paper Trail: The Freeh Investigation uncovered a series of emails from 2001 between Curley, Schultz, and PSU President Graham Spanier. The emails showed they initially planned to report Sandusky to the Department of Public Welfare. [1]
  • The Sudden Reversal: A later email from Curley revealed he changed his mind after talking to Paterno, deciding it was better to just speak with Sandusky privately and tell him not to bring boys into the campus facilities anymore. [1]

3. Unsealed Deposition Testimony (The 1976 Incidents)
In 2016, unsealed court documents from insurance lawsuits revealed that allegations of Sandusky's abuse on campus went back even further than 1998. A victim testified that he was abused by Sandusky in the PSU showers as early as 1976 and that Joe Paterno had been personally informed about it at the time, though no action was taken.

Imma stick with this boss…. At least until psu fans aren’t bad for sports

The legal and historical consensus is that Jerry Sandusky is guilty, and his 2012 conviction was based on overwhelming evidence, including the emotional trial testimonies of eight different young men who looked the jury in the eyes and described the serial abuse they suffered.

They do it because they know they will pop.   And popping is a longer suspension.   Gilman likely did it for that juicy 18 month suspension instead of the 2-4 year one if he actually popped.

let’s not pretend a high level world class athlete just forgot about it.

If he didn't do the whole dumb "Not retired." tweet it would mean nothing because we all knew he was retired and it was just a USADA desk jockey issue. But he did do the dumb tweet and that's why this is a valid topic of the conversation.

Wouldn't you have to meet the kid to diagnose a mental breakdown? McHenry was in the program, said they did fruity stuff and Cael was a Freemason, no chance that could be true huh?
