Now I did hear about this a bit ago and basically dismissed it. I figure that’s easy enough to prove relatively quickly and would have thought something would have happened by now BUT apparently it is not dead. Kids running through girls in college is what it is…I won’t put my beliefs in there…but if that’s what you do then fine but man there’s something off with you if your recording it and sending it to your buddies, especially without the girls consent.

I hope thats not true, cause I hope none of that happened, but if it is and the program gets shut down for a season i'd be elated.

That said, the number 50 makes it sound like its completely made up. A pair of credible accusation would have an attention whore like Palacio crashing the internet already.

confusing way of wording it but I agree lol

Would be fun to just ask Cael at a press conference:

"there appear to be a growing body of incidents and allegations that raises legitimate questions about culture, accountability, and whether winning can sometimes insulate people from consequences."

and he would block that person thereafter, but that would be even more revealing

I genuinely think if PSU gets shut down, wrestling does. Nobody should want the best wrestlers in the world to be shut down just because it’s Penn state. If they shut down those wrestlers, sure, not the program

  • PSU won't get shut down
  • And, even if it would be, wrestling would be fine without PSU
  • Quite a lot of 'best wrestlers in the world' in other places

If they can beat the charge of "hundreds of foster children, at risk children, and disabled children were raped over the course of decades by one of the most powerful persons on campus and later covered up by a person who had a statue on campus" then nothing will happen.

Unfortunately feeling this is true.

Well it stated there were “over” 50 which I mean it’s college…and we don’t know the timeframe it covers. But even if it’s over 50 occurrences from 10, 20 or whatever girls the point stands. Makes me so glad I never had daughters…

what you preferred your kids be doing the filming?Joking obviously.

I'm sure you get my point, 1 is enough. This isn't like the Bill Cosby case where decades of stuff came out over a brief period of time because cases were getting bigger and bigger national exposure and dozens of women were all realizing at once that they would be believed. Unless you can image some sort of farcical scenario where one victim tells another "Have you considered reporting to GreenToePalacio? He's consolidating a the case so he can drop it on one fell swoop and get justice for all of us!"

Yea I get what you’re saying. It’d be bad enough my baby girls getting plowed like an overworked field but knowing some dbags are filming in secret…boy I’d have some serious issues with it.

I don’t get the belief GTP is necessarily out there playing detective…I think this information was brought to him from others and he’s doing what he feels is right to assist. From what I heard a lot of this had been turned in already to local authorities but people do not believe it was handled appropriately and now they’re going a different route to get someone to take it serious.

Cael doesn't get the tough questions.

It is more likely you will see a Journalist ask Donald Trump "with your history of paying whores for sex, how many times have you been treated for Sexually transmitted disease and are you now suffering from Syphilitic Dementia"?

This is making me think there ain't much to it. Someone films him and his girlfriend, a bunch of people know about it....doesn't take much telephone game to spin that into "the whole team took part in a weird sex conspiracy".

1) The same was said about Sandusky. How did that turn out?

2) "It's a nothing burger" - allegations about Starocci. Where has he been again?

3) Snyder, Brooks, Gilman all popped recently. The accusations surround Taylor's second puberty and Kasak exist as well.

Guys I'm starting to think that maybe, given the overall track record, State College, PA and Penn State University might just have a bit of correlated problems and a sweep-under-the-rug mentality. And it isn't exclusive to State College/PSU.

If you're going to state this with such certainty, please back it up with a USADA statement about each of them.

Sorry I can't with Snyder, I'll just have to take the Columbus PD's body cam footage and released evidence and subsequent guilty plea as supporting material of a systemic issue. Gilman is suspended; I would not be concerned about a whereabouts violation if he himself did not say, and I quote, "Not retired." which pretty directly implies he would be active if he wasn't, ya know, suspended. This is what PSU defenders sound like:

Yea in all fairness the only thing Snyder has likely popped on is an STD test and Gilman just no showed for testing multiple times. We can take from that whatever we’d like…but there’s things outside drug testing that point to huge issues with participants/affiliates of the program…

"Popped" has a very specific connotation and I'm sure you're familiar with it. Feigning ignorance is below you.

A whereabouts suspension is not the same as a no-show. A no-show or refusal counts as a positive test. But I'm sure you know that, right?

Correct…didn’t think we were being that technical on the word salads. I was defending Gilman as not being positive…I’m sure you know that, right?
