Honest question. Why does it matter? How does it have any impact on literally anything other than people seeing an inconsequential oversight on grammar? If you're willing to resort to gripes over a small error in an article headline you seems to be scraping the bottom here. You're the student in class who raises their hand to tell the teacher she forgot a letter when writing on the whiteboard. It doesn't make you any smarter or the teacher any less credible because they made a small mental lapse.

Small incidental point, this isn't a semicolon/"grammar" mistake, this is a sentence that makes no sense at all. Its a large scale error with no failsafes in place.

It matters because its one of the incessant reminders that our leading media company is a lethargic husk that doesn't care about the sport in any meaningful way. If someone shows up for work late for the 50th time, and their general quality of work is and has been declining, someone says "Bob is late again, he should be fired", Bob's ally retorts "we can't fire someone every time they are late!"

If everything was progressing well, this would be a nitpick, but this bus ride is bumpy because the driver is drunk. Thats your honest answer.

This is a ridiculous statement

Doesn't mean that I think Flo is perfect. In fact, I agree with parts of your argument but the hyperbolic statement above weakens it, imo

Reading you is such joy. Love the way you choose and use words. Discerning your point is sometimes too abstract for me. I think he's saying the road is bumpy but somehow you know the driver was drunk?

Thank you thats very nice of you to say. I'm implying the poor quality of the drive is the result of something unnecessary and preventable as opposed to the cost of doing business/vicissitudes of life type of problem.

This is laughably ingenuine to say about a company that has single-handedly transformed wrestling coverage in the USA and beyond. You're arguing online because there was a missing word from a headline where anyone with even the slightest bit of ability to use context clues would know what was supposed to be said. If you want to complain about the media personalities, the coverage, the cost, the "bias", or whatever else, I might disagree but at least you're complaining about something that effects the way you view and absorb the sport. Complaining about a clerical error in the form of a typo is such a petty inconsequential reach that it's actually a joke. I can't even believe I'm responding. Smh.

I clipped the same quote before catching up on the post.

Mind you, that mistake in the headline is a "large scale mistake with no failsafes in place." Are we still talking about a typing error in an article that isn't even about anything significant in the sport? Some people just love to be upset.

I stopped here. I don't think you actually believe i'm being disingenuous. You just don't like my perspective and are resorting to personal attacks. No more "honest" questions please.

+1

Flo revolutionized coverage of the sport. It's cheap and you get insane access to events. There are some things they could do better, absolutely. But I swear some folks here act like they're forced at gunpoint to consume every bit of Flo content. No bro that's your choice to engage with their content.

To be fair I see the same stuff on every social platform.  Reddit threads about people hating Reddit, Facebook threads about people hating Facebook... people have either forgotten this stuff is 100% opt-in, or they enjoy the ranting aspect of anonymous keyboard communication. That's definitely not a problem that will get solved on a wrestling forum, lol

Two words. But feel free to let me know howmany nonsensical headlines need to be up there before i'm allowed to point it out.

This is the third time I've been pulled back in by someone in as many days.

No, one word.  “For.”

Nonsensical headlines up simultaneously?  Are there more?

“for season” is extremely common phrasing…

Take the L, says the guy claiming a missing word is a “large scale error,” lol
