Not sure the rules around here for something like this, but I know with absolute certainty that tons of Big Ten wrestling occurs on BTN+.

if you head into your account settings or create a new one and use the couple SAVE27 at checkout, $20.27 for the entire year subscription with AUTO RENEW after 1 year at $90. Please heed the caution of the auto renew.

this should work for new and existing customers.

Hope some find this useful, sorry if this is the wrong place for such a post.

Nice tip...thanks!

Nice, thanks!

Related: the B1G just distributed a reported $1.4B in revenue to its member schools for 2024-2025, up half a billion over the previous year and about 30% higher than the SEC. That's split 18 ways but still, each Big Ten school gets between $76M-$80M, about 2-3.5x what the ACC and Big 12 schools get from their conferences. That's a lot of money to play with, and why we see the rich keep getting richer.

I believe the distribution model is unevenly weighed, so I don’t think everyone gets $75-$80 million. I could very well be wrong, but I thought the distribution closely follows the general popularity of each school/program (amount each brings in), so a school like OSU is going to get a larger cut than a school like Rutgers, for example, as most of the OSU athletics draw more eyes than Rutgers. It’s very possible that I’m mixing this distribution up with the ridiculousness involved with them potentially going to Private Equity, which makes this entire post a waste of time to type, and read. You’re welcome for that

It is unevenly weighted, but it's not nearly as much as the ACC (thanks to FSU and Clemson). Full members of the B1G made between $76-$80M with tOSU and PSU taking the biggest slices of the pie at $92M and $89M because of mostly football-related performance bonuses. Washington and Oregon are not fully vested members and will only receive partial payouts until 2030. Click through the ESPN link for details.

Oh look at that, there’s a link

Mine was set to renew in October and I was allowed to apply the coupon to the renewal so it will only charge me the $20.27 for Oct 2026-Oct 2027.

Does this include most Big 10 duals throughout the season? Also the conference tournament?

Without them releasing the actual TV schedules we won’t know that for sure, but I think the tournament itself is typically on BTN, and that would NOT be included with this. Whether they simultaneously cast it on BTN+ or not, I do not know.

Lots of duals take place on BTN+ throughout the season, that has traditionally been true

My experience in the past, if you only subscribe to a team and the team is in the conference tournament, you can watch all conference content.

Yea even if this didn’t include the conference tournament it’s 100% worth it

If its like the last few years, BTN+ has all of the mats/matches and a quad box to watch them all, plus all of the consi matches.  The BTN broadcast bounces around to top matches/upsets and then shows the semis/finals.  BTN+ has the 3rd and 5th place matches.

So you do get more coverage of the B1G tourney with BTN+ but if you only care about the semis and finals and a few top quarter matches, BTN will probably give you those.

Thank you, that sparks my memory actually.

You can even use the search function in the app and watch archived events.  I watched the 2024 Midlands last night.
