We’ll let me help you here boss. I didn’t stipulate she did or didn’t. You asked if she provided evidence and I showed u the link of what she said. with that said. This thing called Google. Says the threats are from the cartels. I don’t know if you know what cartels are but they don’t get on cnn to give their threats. I don’t know anyone in a cartel that I know of. So I also don’t know how the three letter agencies qualify the validity of said threats. given were deporting the cartels gravy/money train of crime drugs and what not. I dunno boss. You put two and two together. Or don’t. I don’t care. #politicians are trash. And so is politics.

How long until VT becomes a top 3 program?
Truzzcat replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
I do not think this makes them national title contenders, they still have some holes to fill and the way the landscape is looking I just do not think 1-2 weights of zero points of nationals can happen anymore. They are firmly a top 4 team moving into 2026 and beyond though imo. -

Method of results matter. Also, it's really 3-2 and 3-3, respectively, as the two wins are counted towards Ruiz and the two losses towards Pinto. Pinto was 25W-7L last season, whereas Ruiz was 27W-7L. So Ruiz had two additional losses, not including their razor thin matches, including a Major loss to Takatz (who went 0-2 at NCAAs) the week before conferences. Ruiz had a 46% bonus VS 56% bonus for Pinto. It checks out... but it doesn't, if you know what I mean. I actually expect Ruiz to win more comfortably. He balled out over the summer in MFS. I get why it is the way it is, when considering results. Ratings Predictions are only typically ~80% accurate, as it were. Edit: ~80% when considering the w/l result, not the Dec/Maj/Tech/Pin/etc. result.
-
Interesting that Ruiz is 2-0 vs. Pinto (including at the NCAAs), 5-2 vs 3-5 against common opponents, and WS picks Pinto.

Dang He was my team's counselor this year at the UTC Team Camp and all of my kids really like him - super personable and he connected well

Over the weekend, Melvin Miller, the top recruit in the high school Class of 2027 announced his college decision. Virginia Tech was the choice. He, along with brother Bo Bassett, committed to wrestle for the Hokies. Provided Miller signs with the Hokies, 13 months from now, we have college commitment data from over 20 years worth of #1 overall recruits. The same could be said for high school teammate Jax Forrest, who is expected to sign with Oklahoma State in November. Below are every #1 overall recruit in their class since 2005 and the school that they originally signed with coming out of high school. Arizona State Zahid Valencia (St. John Bosco, CA) - 2015 Cornell Meyer Shapiro (Wyoming Seminary, PA/MD) - 2023 Iowa Spencer Lee (Franklin Regional, PA) - 2017 Lehigh David Craig (Brandon, FL) - 2006 Minnesota Dustin Schlatter (Massillon Perry, OH) - 2005 Gable Steveson (Apple Valley, MN) - 2018 Northwestern Jason Tsirtsis (Crown Point, IN)) - 2012 Jason Welch (Los Lomas, CA) - 2008 Ohio State Nick Feldman (Malvern Prep, PA) - 2022 Paddy Gallagher (St. Edward, OH) - 2021 Bo Jordan (Graham, OH) - 2013 Greg Kerkvliet (Simley, MN) - 2019 Kyle Snyder (Good Counsel, MD) - 2014 Logan Stieber (Monroeville, OH) - 2010 Oklahoma State AJ Ferrari (Allen, TX) - 2020 Jax Forrest (Bishop McCort, PA) - 2026 Penn State PJ Duke (Minisink Valley, NY) - 2025 Mark Hall (Apple Valley, MN) - 2016 Luke Lilledahl (Wyoming Seminary, PA/MO) - 2024 Morgan McIntosh (Calvary Chapel, CA) - 2011 David Taylor (Graham, OH) - 2009 Virginia Tech Cody Gardner (Christiansburg, VA) - 2007 Melvin Miller (Bishop McCort, PA) - 2027

You can't be serious.... -
Bassett and Miller (and little Bassett in the future) will be program changers for Tech. Is it crazy to think they might be competing for a team title in 2-3 years? Does this kick Iowa firmly off the podium? (Penn State, Ok State, VT/Nebraska/Cornell/Ohio State)

OMG...right now it absolutely is mostly the left. You are just being obtuse and partisan to say "both sides are doing it". Both sides do do it but at this moment in time it is 95% the left. And AGAIN, since you don't get it...it is wrong no matter what!! Why is that so hard for you to understand?? -
All good ones!

I was a Jared Lawrence fan as well....solid competitor.

She did not. And the DHS has already been caught lying about this specific case, so please tell me why I should believe her assertion without evidence about bounties? Sad thing is none of you have the integrity to come out and admit you're wrong when the people you support are caught lying. Don't be surprised if DHS suddenly stops talking about this incident once *actual* video is available and it reveals that their poorly trained wannabe brown shirts screwed up.
-
Then quit taking about it like you continuously do. Being a snow plow driver in Minnesota must make you do weird things huh?

Drink up there snow plow

Not the incident. Falling for lies again to nobody's surprise. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/10/05/us/politics/chicago-motorists-charged-border-patrol.html "The criminal complaint makes no mention of any firearm in the possession of either motorist, in contrast to an earlier statement from the Department of Homeland Security." "The account given in the complaint differs significantly from the one offered on Saturday in a statement from the Department of Homeland Security. That statement said that agents were “forced to deploy their weapons and fire defensive shots” at a driver who was “armed with a semiautomatic weapon.” The criminal complaint does not include that claim." Until they provide the actual video of this incident, we have no reason to believe the DHS account of what happened. Lots of misinformation going around about this.
