  1. Past hour
  2. You could argue they are doing it for the wrong reasons, but it's for the best. Flock camera systems have always been a huge privacy concern and the reason for their removal in Denver does boil down to a "concern about concern." It's just they finally violated privacy in a way the lawmakers finalyl cared about. Law enforement in many areas have access to the tracking that these systems provide without a warrant making it ripe for abuse. https://local12.com/news/nation-world/police-chief-gets-caught-using-license-plate-cameras-to-track-his-ex-girlfriend-228-times-arrests-charges-probation-flock-safety-follow-stalk-new-boyfriend-broke-up-out-of-town-misuse I wouldn't want these in my city regardless of whether or not it might recover my stolen car.
  3. I wish the absolute worst on PSU
  4. Now Brooks gets popped for roids. Real classy program Carl runs
  5. Told y'all he was taking the year off to cycle some roids and gain weight. PED and Pedo State back at it!
  6. If true: dirty, dirty, dirty.
  7. Neither of them decided to mention how Cstar was assaulting teammates or bringing girls into the wrestling room. Basch said he won't speak on it. Terrible coverage. More complaining about people complaining that they suck at covering it bc they don't wanna lose access to PSU.
  8. I thought @mspart might have been asking if DT would end up going back to PSU to run the program if Cael had to step down? At the very least, it would be nice to see Cael appear to be a little more hands-on and actively involved with running his program. From the outside looking in, he's very much a chill bro, like ahh, go with the flow, don't worry about things, what happens happens, have fun. He runs the program like a wrestling lab where he trusts his guys to train hard and motivate themselves in all aspects of wrestling and college life. My impression is that PSU guys love wrestling for Cael is because it's like learning technique from an Einstein of wrestling (and then practicing with a room full of mini-Einsteins) and because he lets them do pretty much what they want. But he doesn't really seem to care much about anything outside of the X's & O's of actual wrestling. Maybe he leaves rules, compliance, academics, and all the off-mat stuff up to Casey or the other coaches, idk. This might be where religion comes in too, like he believes everyone will be okay and things will take care of themselves if his wrestlers live by the bible or something. It's an interesting philosophy, but it can also come off as passive or even lazy, especially when stuff like this happens. It's far easier to imagine Cael stepping back and not paying attention, rather than actually intervening and getting on someone's case for breaking rules or worse. Like I can't even imagine Cael chewing someone out even over something this serious.
  9. the last week makes it obvious brands is way less "win at all costs" than cael.
  10. Even though I’m not a PSU fan, I do not hope Cael loses his job (unless he truly deserves it). I’m hoping that he didn’t know much and can continue coaching. I do hope that it removes the idea that he “walks on water”. I’m from PA, so it seems everyone else here believes he can do no wrong. He does coach a lot of good character traits and mindset principles, BUT he is a win at all costs guy just as much as Brands (and about every other D1 coach). He will take whoever he thinks can get him a national title and he puts his team’s success above what it best for the sport (can’t blame him). I just hope it takes a bit of the aura off and maybe levels the recruiting field a bit.
  11. IMO, no. Downey was complaining about Snyder too, and was claiming he was “canceled for telling the truth.” But he also had sexual assault allegations at the time, which I think were more the reason for his suspension (IIRC they were ultimately dismissed). Yet that’s not what Flo (nor most people for that mater) were mostly talking about in regards to him
  12. If nothing else, we all now have license to call PSU wrestlers and fans pedophiles for the next 20 years at nationals. "We Are...Pedos"
  13. Today
  14. Correct, especially if it never come out that he is a creep, a thief, and a sex criminal. Allegedly.
  15. Having the only 5 timer is good for recruiting in the future no?
  16. Minnow was probably extrapolating from the article, making the author his own source. I actually think it is a bad move to toss Carter from the NLWC. It is almost like an admission of guilt. "Yes we knew you were shady during the season, but no one else knew, so it was fine. Now that this has come out publicly, we don't want to be associated with you!" They literally knew he was an alleged criminal during the season and were fine with it!
  17. I don’t specifically remember the coverage. So actual question. Does he have a point or no ?? Ferrari too
  18. Pat seems to be digging his hand pretty deep in there
  19. This is not the Democrat party and we don't know who JFK is. mspart
  20. In a city of millions, that's bound to add up to a lot of beans. mspart
  21. Good call! Done. Also bring on the Sassos so we have SamSass and Son Sass on board too.
  22. What about Stephen Abas? Can he coach?
  23. Makes me question legal immigration effectiveness.
