Problem is everyone's afraid to tell the Brands they're fired. They need Telford to deliver the news or maybe a football linebacker or TE.

@WrestlingRecords.com may be able to help with some of that. I know he has quite a bit of individual results from old US Opens.

The Brands clearly have fallen behind several schools when it comes to high school recruiting. They have been bringing in basically 1 true blue-chip recruit each year, and that is obviously not a sustainable way to build a program. But who on the Iowa staff is going to excite a current HS recruit? You have Tom and Terry who are in their late 50s, and then you're getting recruited by Ryan Morningstar and Bobby Telford? Almost every major program has at least one assistant that brings more youth, recency, and excitment to their program. The Brands simply aren't good at managing relationships long-term. Ramos, Gilman, and Metcalf were about as ride-or-die Iowa style, Tom and Terry proteges while they were in college as they come. Now, all of them have personal issues with the Brands. This makes it difficult for the Brands to bring in more recent successful Hawkeyes to help their recruiting, because many of them tire from the environment and leave. With that being said, I don't think that the Brands could very easily bring in outside up-and-coming assistants to Iowa. If you didn't go for the Brands recruiting pitch as a high-schooler, I doubt you'd have a lot of interest in going and coaching for TnT post-grad. It's hard to imagine that Iowa has the #6 recruiting class in 2024 #7 recruiting class in 2025, and #11 in 2026 (1 recruit). SUMMARY: Say whatever you want about the Brands ability to develop, their recruiting hasn't been working since pre-2020, and if you can't recruit, you aren't going to be successful long-term. Iowa would be better of having any coach that can recruit right now than continuing forward with TnT. TnT are losing the recruiting battle with the power, money, and prestige that the black and gold has in the wrestling community. It's hard to imagine any successful college coaches out there would fair worse in recruiting than the Brands have since 2018.

No, it still hasn't no matter how many times you claim it . How do I spell it out? None of you right wingers are good humans. Celebrating ice raids, removing parents from their kids makes you a bad person. I am sure you sleep well at night with your lack of conscience.

@Husker_Du I finally got around to listening to your PSU podcast and couldn't help but notice you called out my Intermat post and you said "nahhh" But then you posted this after! Hmm.

Yeah I don’t care how old Bo is or why. States are very different. You are correct. My brother is 15 months older than me. He was two grades ahead of me. My college girlfriend was 14 months younger than me and graduated the same year I did. She is from New Jersey while I am from Pennsylvania.
-
I think that's an entirely acceptable age and it makes sense. Also, bad ass kid you raised.

Michigan. I know so many states are different, I just thought it interesting in comparison. I have no dog in this race and I enjoy everything Bo and his group do. Big fan.

It’s almost like. Just almost. This horse still has some life in it and hasn’t been beaten to death many times in the past.

152, the analogy works whether you want it to or not. It has been demonstrated very clearly here. mspart

Americans are geographically illiterate but what else is new?

Agreed. That is essentially what I said earlier. mspart -
Less than 400 tickets have been distributed for this.

I didn’t say it was a “big deal,” just that that would still be considered a redshirt. But yes, I agree that summer birthdays are more likely to be held back.

No one is sucking that teet Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of federal, state, and local government spending on undocumented immigrants (commonly referred to as “illegal immigrants”) in recent years: Federal Spending Medicaid emergency services provided to undocumented immigrants have cost $16.2 billion since the start of the Biden administration arrington.house.gov+15budget.house.gov+15thenationaldesk.com+15. So your two summer birthday kids are 8-12 weeks younger than the late April birthday, I don't see that as a big deal. If you want to call it a RS, I don't have an issue with the nomenclature. I just think, when talking about kindergarten, late April through Summer is a 50/50 call on whether you send them when they are 5. I have seen it go both ways and most have nothing to do with sports. Typically, the 9/1 date is for 6 year olds, not 5 year olds. It seems pretty common for July birthdays to get held, I doubt all the summer birthday gets sent when 5 (just like you didn't) so the 1/3 is an exaggeration for effect and not likely.

Will you say more about that? Who doesn’t want max pay for less work, quality goods/services for cheap, or bigger profits? That's not hypocrisy... That's not only Republicans.

Keep in mind, when it comes to farm workers, there are guest worker programs that provide for needed help. This from the Center for Immigration Studies: Notable findings: Of the 474 civilian occupations, only six are majority immigrant (legal and illegal). These six occupations account for 1 percent of the total U.S. workforce. Moreover, native-born Americans still comprise 46 percent of workers in these occupations. There are no occupations in the United States in which a majority of workers are illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants work mostly in construction, cleaning, maintenance, food service, garment manufacturing, and agricultural occupations. However, the majority of workers even in these areas are either native-born or legal immigrants. Only 4 percent of illegal immigrants and 2 percent of all immigrants do farm work. Immigrants (legal and illegal) do make up a large share of agricultural workers — accounting for half or more of some types of farm laborers — but all agricultural workers together constitute less than 1 percent of the American work force. Many occupations often thought to be worked overwhelmingly by immigrants (legal and illegal) are in fact majority native-born: Maids and housekeepers: 51 percent native-born Taxi drivers and chauffeurs: 54 percent native-born Butchers and meat processors: 64 percent native-born Grounds maintenance workers: 66 percent native-born Construction laborers: 65 percent native-born Janitors: 73 percent native-born https://cis.org/Report/There-Are-No-Jobs-Americans-Wont-Do

The vast majority of Democrats don't want that. There's a 0% chance this gets any nationwide traction in the next century. Maybe they can ban it in specific cities but that would be about it. I don't think that has happened anywhere though, has it? I'm talking about possession of regular guns by regular people. Oh, here we go with the 'ol "slipper slope argument." I can see it coming.
