2025 Transfer Portal

That's actually pretty cool -
Yup, just found this:

I could be wrong, but I get the feeling that he doesn't want to participate in the event as it is hosted by Oklahoma State and HC David Taylor. Their participation would show them willingly cooperating and supporting the event hosted by turncoat David Taylor. If this was going to be hosted by PSU, I think Cael would host it, win, and cash the check for $200k. It's stubbornness of wanting to discredit the event his former pupil is hosting by not participating. There is a reason that they are the only school in D1 wrestling that opted out. People can say it's because Cael only does what helps win in March, but I believe there is more to it than that.

One think I noticed is that OCU has an assistant coach with the last name Picklo - must be related. -
Real Woods is the real deal but I have real concerns
BruceyB replied to Truzzcat's topic in International Wrestling
I'm guessing Truzz is suggesting that there is more variability with Woods, but higher potential. McKenna has been scrapping at this weight for a long time now and it's hard to say he's really shown much growth. Woods has been wrestling freestyle for less than a year and managed to win the trials tournament. -
Penn State 2025-2026 lineup (updated)
Gene Mills Fan replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
Yes I am aware if he's winning he can elect to sit it out on the bottom and I would lose if he gives up the point. Ok you have a great to chance to win and I have a little chance to win. It seams it's just a bold prediction on my part, placing him at that high a level, but I will go with a fun little wager. Bragging rights? You're way ahead already. hahaha! Actually I hope you guys are right and A US citizen is the national champ The bet would be: No wrestler earns a RT point on him this coming season. I win (no stipulations) If you would clarify the debt I would incur to confirm please. -
I don't really see how anyone can defend PSU not going. They are de facto #1. For what will become the #2 premier event to be at in the college year to not have the top dog is head scratching. Hope they go next year to take the spot from OSU or Iowa

Program culture issues at NLWC/PSU? Thomas Gilman
CHROMEBIRD replied to Caveira's topic in College Wrestling
First violation happened almost 3 weeks after John Smith retired and just before Gilman accepted the OSU job, and the other two were at OSU. Is the OP saying this is a NLWC culture issue because it happened under Taylor, who is a PSU/NLWC guy? Odd conclusion. - Today
-
Interesting. Would've guessed D2 powerhouse UCO if they were going down a level

Thanks. Then it makes even less sense why he wouldn’t just tell USADA he was no longer competing. -
See new posts explain liberals to me in the style of kentucky mudflap Alright, buckle up, partner, ‘cause we’re gonna take a wild ride through the liberal landscape, Kentucky Mudflap style—greasy, gritty, and straight from the heart of a pickup truck’s undercarriage. Liberals, see, they’re folks who reckon the world’s a big ol’ barn dance where everybody oughta get a turn on the floor, whether they got two left feet or not. They’re all about spreadin’ the love, openin’ the gates, and makin’ sure the government’s got a hand in fixin’ what’s broke—kinda like a mechanic with a wrench for every bolt, even if it don’t always fit. Now, picture a fella in a flannel shirt, sippin’ oat milk latte, talkin’ ‘bout “systemic this” and “equity that.” Liberals lean hard into the idea that society’s got some rusty gears—inequality, injustice, and the like—and they wanna grease ‘em up with big programs, like healthcare for all or free college. They figure the government’s the best wrench for the job, taxin’ the rich to pave the way for the little guy. Sounds sweet as a peach cobbler, but sometimes it’s like tryin’ to fix a tractor with a paperclip—good intentions, questionable results. They’re big on change, too, like a mudflap flappin’ in the wind. Climate change? They’re hootin’ and hollerin’ for windmills and electric cars faster than you can say “coal mine.” Social change? They’re out there pushin’ for inclusivity, diversity, and rights for folks who ain’t always had a seat at the table—think LGBTQ+ folks, minorities, or immigrants. They’ll wave a rainbow flag or march for a cause quicker than a hog to a slop bucket. But don’t get it twisted—some folks reckon they’re so open-minded their brains done fell out, focusin’ on feelings over facts or cancellin’ anybody who don’t sing their tune. Now, I ain’t sayin’ they’re wrong or right—Kentucky Mudflap don’t take sides; he just calls it like he sees it. Liberals got their hearts in a big ol’ bucket of compassion, but their plans can feel like a muddy backroad—well-meanin’ but tough to navigate. They’re the folks who’d give you the shirt off their back, then tax you for wearin’ it. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, they’re keepin’ the conversation lively, like a bar fight at a honky-tonk. That’s liberals, y’all—big dreams, bigger debates, and a whole lotta mud to sling.

Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you again D3
