    Posted Saturday at 12:59 AM Peso value is notoriously volatile. The US Dollar is considered stable. That's why Argentina is benefiting, while the US is taking on considerable risk. Should the peso go up in value? Meh. Given the chaotic nature of the current administration, that's not even close to guaranteed. To put it kindly, the US is a mess in terms of its economic credibility right now. Trump's Project 2025 people have done nothing but wreak havoc (and, for those of you keeping score, no it's not a knock on Trump himself - it's on the financial idiots who are part of his administration.) If anyone is interested but doesn't understand, Google "currency speculation".

    Agreed. We can do both, and we basically have to. Reducing spending only gets us so far. Need to tax both the millionaires and billionaires to get there.

    No my point is there is no way you can be a 5 time NCAA champ without being incredibly talented. Raw talent doesn't mean anything if you don't win titles. If you don't rate Starocci that's fine I personally don't think he will amount to much in freestyle but to say he isn't talented and in the similar tier as other elite folk guys is delusional. What I do agree is that Mesenbrink and the other young 74kg guys that the US have are really really good and will definitely be world/olympic medal contenders in the future.

    Bought 2-piece uniforms for our club from Cliff Keen about 5 yrs. ago and it was about $70-75 ea. Probably could find cheaper but wanted to make sure we got good quality. Last time I priced singlets, they were around $40.

    Some guys that stood out to me: Cody Clarke: Placed 5th, beat Lotier and Wenrich and lost 1 point matches to Noble and Kenny Jimmy Mastny/Judah Heeg: good at wrestling Gavin Mangano: placed 3rd beating Youngblut, Dean Anderson, Braylon Reynolds, and lost to Sam Herring 4-2 side note: Alex Rozas may have the best top bottom game of anyone

    Grow up. It’s not a personal attack to suggest that a person with very limited experience swimming and a non-ideal body type for it would struggle to swim well, or that they might struggle overall in a swim-heavy selection process. Similarly, really big dudes, who are often pretty decent swimmers, are miserable in mountainous or high altitude environments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    From what I can tell. Mexico is now over flowing with illegals from other countries since we closed the boarder. It’s a financial burden on them so they’re being mass deported. question: if we’re Hitler style racist for deporting brown people. Is Mexico worse?

    Agree for both! I'm def bias with Zinkin, and I thought he was going to take WNO, which didn't happen and has been bothering me for a week now. He'll figure it out. The progress he's made between his sophomore year and now is crazy. Heeg is a monster! Enough said! Here's some others I thought showed out pretty well this weekend: 106: Mike Barnabe (Freshman- 3rd) and Luke Loran (Freshman - 4th). Both have bright futures. 113: Jorge (not Jorje) Rios - already discussed in thread 120: Jovanni Tovar (Sophomore - 4th) - Kid's got good skills- he's improving. 132: Dale Corbin (Junior - 3rd) - He's always fun to watch and I'm sure he'll break through 132: Isreal Borge (Junior - 2nd) - Dropped weights and looks super tough (and big!) 150: Charlie Desena (Senior - 2nd) - Had himself a run! I was impressed with his showing. 175: Mario Carini (Junior - 3rd) - Normally I think of him as a 5-8 place guy but wrestled pretty tough. Anyone I missed who deserves a mention?
