2025 NCAA Championships Committee Annual Report
Seanyd replied to SetonHallPirate's topic in College Wrestling
3x per year rankings will be cool, I'm guessing they won't do a pre-season rankings and will do one in: (1)Dec (2)Jan (3)Feb. Anyone know for sure? -
Because you can bet your glazed buns this carnival ride ain't over. A few ideas: Kerk, the seemingly quiet, calm, down to earth and chill guy is actually the Scranton strangler Kasak "Beef" is actually reconstituted embryonic and placental matter - Rich in electrolytes, stem cells, and race horse grade HGH Casey Cunningham fined $250,000 in late library fees OKST forfeits all scholarships for 2 seasons cuz of recruiting violations Richie Figs discovered to be the kingpin of a massive regional poaching, illegal fishing, and unsanctioned fracking operation. A wrestler gets shot by his teammate in Iowa City, again. Spencer Lee gets popped for PEDs (anyone who has seen enough of my posts knows I'm a huge fan, but I had to pretend to be fair in starting this thread. Plus, I've been a little nervous ever since he started working with the trening, ahem, I mean, treigning, lab)

Brooks story: True or False?
wrestle87 replied to Interviewed_at_Weehawken's topic in International Wrestling
The "one"? You think there's just one person on this board who feels that way? But no, I'm not one of those people. Steroids are compounds which are far too powerful to just flip that switch wholesale. Young kids get themselves into way too much trouble at an early age even in the face of societal pressure against drug use. I am the one, however, who thinks that better access to dispassionate discussion of what these compounds do would be a good thing. -
I have several partial tears in my rotator cuff and labrum. Has anyone had success with bone marrow stem cell treatment rather than surgery?
-
I do not like this guy but even if he lied through omission, I am uncomfortable in where that could lead.

Sort of serious question. Are you the one who thinks peds / steroids etc should be legal in sports ? - Today

Brooks story: True or False?
wrestle87 replied to Interviewed_at_Weehawken's topic in International Wrestling
I’m amazed by how many posters 1) think that olympic athletes don’t use exogenous supplementation as part of training 2) think that there are actually morals to be upheld at the highest level regarding PED use. ”This athlete cheated, he was breathing air during the competition.” Olympics is about revenue, and protecting same. Anything else is just a big cup of Jim Jones favorite Kool-Aid. -

I like moving up the start of Session 6 by 30 minutes. Having attended 25 of these Championships, I have always been of the opinion that there is too much “dead time” between the conclusion of Session 5 & the start of Session 6”. -

USADA tells you in excruciating what to avoid and there are nearly endless appeals in the process. He's dirty. -

So what’s the next scandal for PSU this weekend? Or is it going to about a 133 pounder for OSU? -
the same thing happens in the midwest everytime there is a hail storm
-
The first one, soaring litigation costs, is at the insurance companies’ own doing. The reason so many claims have to go to litigation is because the insurers very regularly low ball the hell out of the insured on the initial amount they are going to pay toward a claim, especially in these storm events where they have a whole lot of claims to pay out.

Cause it’s a story written by his pr team and they prolly had to link it to something that really happened. Guessing he had pneumonia and they can document that …. And Wiola. I was just trying to feel better. Toats not cheating. -
actually following precedent is not activist
-
You can quibble about how much but, either way, climate change is a huge part of soaring home insurance costs.
-
I don't see the hypocritical wingers complaining about "activist judges" this time lol.

Brooks Releases Statement Regarding Potential Suspension
InterMat Staff posted an article in International
On Friday, 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Aaron Brooks released a statement on social media that might contain a reference to a suspension due to a failed drug test. At this time, a suspension and a failed drug test have not been made public by any of wrestling's governing bodies. Brooks starts the statement noting that he's dealt with a variety of injuries - he hasn't competed at all in 2025. We'll have more information as it becomes public regarding Brooks and this situation. -

Why would anyone be taking over the counter meds for pneumonia?
