Seth is out Muslim is wrestling one of the Koontz brothers which no disrespect to them but at that point just don't have a match. I wish they somehow could have gotten Jayden Raney or something.
-
Bill O'Reilly on the mic?
-
Yea it apparently was finalized within the last week or two. Russia is favored at nearly every weight but will be some good matches in there.

Within the last week or so, we’ve had a handful of new developments regarding RAF (Real American Freestyle). Just this morning, news broke that the FoxNation app will be the home of RAF and will stream their first event, RAF 01, live on August 30th. FoxNation is available for a $7.99 per month option or $60 per year. RAF also has announced the 1996 Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle will be a part of their commentary team. He’ll join collegiate All-American and MMA star Chael Sonnen and 2010 NCAA champion Bubba Jenkins in the booth. Last week, RAF also publicly added another bout to their RAF 01 card. 2015 NCAA champion Nathan Tomasello will take on 2023 NCAA runner-up Matt Ramos at 135 lbs. Tomasello was a four-time All-American and a four-time Big Ten champion for Ohio State University. He was an integral part of the Buckeyes 2015 national title-winning squad. Ramos made the 2023 NCAA finals after pulling one of the most memorable upsets in recent history. He nearly blew the roof off of Tulsa’s BOK Center after pinning three-time national champion Spencer Lee. Ramos finished his collegiate career earlier this year with a fourth-place finish at the 125 lbs weight class. With the Ramos/Tomasello bout added to RAF 01, the card now looks like this: Matt Ramos vs. Nathan Tomasello (135 lbs) Real Woods vs. Darrion Caldwell (145 lbs) Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer (155 lbs) Sarah Hildebrandt vs. Zeltzin Hernandez Guerra (120 lbs) Kennedy Blades vs. Alejandra Rivera Arriaga (150 lbs) Bo Nickal vs. Jacob Cardenas (205 lbs) Yianni Diakomihalis vs. Bajrang Punia (155 lbs)

While a large portion of the wrestling community was focused on Fargo, or perhaps the Hungarian Ranking Series Event, there was some movement on the DI coaching carousel. Illinois announced that they have hired former Nebraska All-American Eric Schultz. Schultz will take the place of two-time NCAA champion Isaiah Martinez on the Illini staff. Since taking seventh at the 2022 NCAA Championships, Schultz has remained active on the freestyle scene and was fourth at the 2024 Olympic Team Trials. While at Nebraska, Schultz was a three-time Big Ten finalist and was seeded in the top-three at NCAA’s on three occasions (one being the canceled 2020 tournament). Before college, Schultz was a state champion for Tinley Park High School in Illinois. Another recent addition to the coaching ranks (again) is Gavin Hoffman to Lock Haven. Last year around this time, we wrote about Hoffman joining the Bald Eagle coaching staff. About half way through his first season, Hoffman decided to use his final year of eligibility and wrestled at heavyweight for LHU. He ended up winning a MAC title and finished a match away from All-American status. The last new hire to mention is Jay Nivison who was hired by Long Island. Nivison just wrapped up his collegiate career at Michigan State University. Before coming to Michigan State, Nivison was a teammate of Sharks head coach John Arceri at Buffalo. In 2022, Nivison qualified for the NCAA Tournament after taking true second at the MAC Championships. On a different note, late Thursday night, Oregon State announced that assistant coach Nate Engel had stepped down from his position on the Beaver coaching staff. Engel has been a key figure in helping Oregon State to sign ranked recruiting classes in three of the last four years. He also has plenty of experience coaching the international styles with the Beaver Dam RTC and USA Wrestling. We’ll be paying close attention to Engel’s next move. With Engel stepping down, there’s an attractive opportunity with Oregon State that has been added to our list of openings below. Coaching Changes Army West Point: Troy Nickerson (Head Coach) Binghamton: Brevin Cassella (Assistant Coach) Brown: Tyler Grayson (Assistant Coach) Illinois: Eric Schultz (Assistant Coach) Kent State: Josh Moore (Head Coach) Lehigh: Sammy Sasso (Assistant Coach) Lock Haven: Gavin Hoffman (Assistant Coach) Long Island: Jay Nivison (Assistant Coach) Mercyhurst: Jimmy Overhiser (Head Coach) Missouri: Keegan O’Toole (Assistant Coach) NC State: Malik McDonald (Assistant Coach) North Dakota State: Willie Miklus (Assistant Coach) Northern Colorado: Teyon Ware (Head Coach) Oklahoma State: Kevin Ward (Assistant Coach) Penn: Matt Valenti (Head Coach) Princeton: Ryan Wolfe (Assistant Coach) Purdue: Matt Ramos (Assistant Coach) RTC/Club Lee Roper (Cowboy RTC) Open Appalachian State: Assistant Coach Bellarmine: Assistant Coach Campbell: Head Coach Drexel: Assistant Coach George Mason: Assistant Coach Kent State: Assistant Coach Little Rock: Assistant Coach Maryland: Assistant Coach Michigan State: Assistant Coach Northern Iowa: Assistant Coach Oklahoma: Assistant Coach Oregon State: Assistant Coach Penn: Assistant Coach

Stutzman was the coach at Bloomsburg before taking the Buffalo job. On reason he spent such a short time unemployed was his history at Bloomsburg and that there was an opening there. No one after him as had as much success. An easy decision for Bloomsburg urg to bring him back.

Iran vs USA 57 - Momeni vs Lee- Lee favored 61 - Javan vs Jax- No idea 65 - Amouzad vs Woods- Amouzad 70 - Yazdani vs Duke- No idea 74 - Emami vs Carr- Carr 79 - to be determined, almost certainly will be Nokhodi vs Haines- Whoever Iran Sends (Nokhodi) 86 - Ghasempour vs Zahid- Should be close 92 - Firouzpour vs Hidlay- Another close one 97 - Azarpira vs Snyder- They were close last time they wrestled 125 - Zare vs Wyatt- Zare Iran is the more proven team and has more sure things, but if Jax and PJ are legit on the world stage that would make a major difference. Also from 86-97 both teams are STACKED.

Could be. -
What a dumb President, once again. He should stay in his lane; let the league and teams do what they want w their own sport. What a profound idea, huh? Its all populism w this guy.
-
Feels like a team that could win 8 medals. I do not think Emami or Momeni will medal but Emami certainly has a chance and while I am 50/50 on Javan I think odds would point to either him or Emami medaling.

Trump tackling important issues

I didn't talk about 'some people', I talked specifically about "many many leaders in the native american nation", including the family of which the mascot was inspired, and what they felt about it. Conveniently disregarding that and shifting to "some people" doesn't change the fact. They're opinion carries a little more weight than those just looking for cultural political points, no matter how hard you try. -
1. Using that term is basically like using the N word. It's not acceptable. Some people might not have a problem with it, but many do. Names change all the time. We had a kerfuffle about it locally because they changed a bunch of street names, school names and park names because somebody figured out the people those things were named after had been members of the KKK. 2. I don't think he really spends much time on anything. Snorting Adderall maybe? 3. Agreed.

Lot of pieces to this: 1) Many many leaders in the Native American nation, including the family of the chief of the Blackfeet tribe who's image inspired the logo before the Redskins name was removed, want the name changed back. Many, many leaders never wanted the name change in the first place, as they felt it as a memorial rather than the degradation that was being hyped for cultural political points in the time of kneeling in African garb. 2) Don't pretend the President isn't addressing the economy, immigration, foreign policy and other issues that were hot topics of the election. Not everyone may agree with how he is addressing those issues, in some cases myself included, but don't pretend he's not spending time on them 3) The President of the United States should not be involved in the naming of NFL franchises and using threats to try to hold up stadium deals, particularly a republican President, when the party is supposed to be about small government. -
6 of these illegals involved in crimes against children…. Many sexual crimes ICE Takes Down Convicted Illegal Alien Sexual Predators, Pedophiles Over the Weekend Release Date: July 14, 2025 Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE is working around-the-clock to remove the worst of the worst from American communities WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced criminal illegal aliens arrested over the weekend—including sexual predators, pedophiles and child abusers. Despite a nearly 700 percent surge in assault against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and DHS law enforcement, officers continue to make American communities safer every day. “Over the weekend, our brave ICE agents arrested monstrous illegal aliens convicted of heinous crimes including rape of a child, sexual assault and possession of child pornography. ICE is putting their lives on the line to keep America’s children and families safe,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin “Yet, they are now facing a nearly 700 percent increase in assaults against them as gutter politicians attempt to attack and demonize our brave law enforcement. This is sick. We will only double down in getting these dangerous criminals off of our streets.” Below are some of the criminal illegal aliens arrested over the weekend: ICE Atlanta arrested Porfirio Bernal-Fregoso, a 45-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of attempted rape of child and indecent liberties with a child in Durham County, North Carolina. ICE Baltimore arrested Edwin Gomez-Cervantes, an illegal alien from Guatemala, who was previously convicted for sexual abuse of a minor in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. ICE Houston arrested Sergio Guerrero-Galvan, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, whose previous conviction includes aggravated sexual assault of child in Travis County, Texas. ICE Salt Lake City arrested Juan Hernan Camarena-Cuevas, a 32-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, who was previously convicted for child abuse/injury. ICE Baltimore arrested Rodrigo Alexander Gomez-Ventura, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador convicted in Hagerstown, Maryland for possession of child pornography. ICE San Antonio arrested Hugo Sanchez-Benitez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico convicted of aggravated sexual assault in Houston, Texas.
