Something like an injury may prevent a wrestler from competing, yet they are still enrolled and making progress towards graduation. All of these guys had this situation. The Ivy League doesn't make it easy to have an injury red shirt (or any red shirt, for that matter). Enrolled == eligibility used. Cornell didn't "let" them get in this situation.

I've never claimed to be intelligent so maybe this question doesn't make sense, but if this is a known thing at the Ivy's why is Cornell letting the wrestlers get into this position eligibility wise? I was living maybe a few miles from the worst of it at the time. Truth is that Walz did a commendable job. Both handling the situation as it escalated and also managing the handling of the National Guard. It was shut down quickly, efficiently, and with little loss of life. When he wasn't elected to be VP, I was glad he was returning as governor. All these jokers who are casting accusations at Walz should be noted.
