Typically you would say 3.5 or 4.5, not 4.

Over/Under on Senior World Medals
flyingcement replied to Hammerlock3's topic in International Wrestling
When you assert that people would not go over four and you would win if they didn't: are you judging it from a bottom up or a top down perspective. I.e. are you saying that based on the brackets they have and what each wrestlers path to medaling would be? Or more or an overall evaluation of the quality of the team and an expectation based on that? - Today

For UNI to be top three, they have rightfully earned the title of 184U. I hope they can keep it going without Roper.

Spratley is pretty active in his matches against guys he's better than. Hell, he majored Ventresca in the dual. I'm not here to argue that Spratley is active, but I figured that semi-finals match was going into OT before it started. Ventresca had just come off of an OT win without any offensive points scored in the first 7 minutes in the quarters against Strickenberger. Ventresca is tough, but he is basically a 125 pound Cam Amine/Will Lewan. He's the most boring 125 in the country.

The point is what happens in third world shitholes sucks compared to America but feel free to send all the examples you want. Makes me appreciate more everyday where I get to live.
-
Haha. You really think by sending me stuff like this, I’ll suddenly line up with the Islamic Republic so you can stick every crime of that regime on me too? I’m not a spokesperson for critics of the Islamic Republic, and I sure as hell ain’t a supporter of those bastard ayatollahs either. You won’t find a bigger enemy of that regime than me. So don’t waste your time digging up Amnesty reports to "educate" me. If that’s the game, just tell me straight up-I can send you even worse examples of their crimes than the ones you’ve got.

What is the point of threads like this? Do you have some sort of endgame? - Yesterday

It's seems you are confusing the NG with the mayor.

So, no responsible parenting leads to no ability to get or keep a job - where showing up is not negotiable. So, does poverty lead to the inability to find your way to school or does absenteeism lead to poverty? Poverty is not the cause. It is the result.

If you had to name a number in reference to howmany senior medals we get, knowing you counterpart was going to say over or under, constituting their bet, what number are you saying? I'm saying 4. My thought process being no one would take the over, 4 is a tie, and I'd beat anyone who took the under. I could have just said "howmany medals" but i find this scenario is a little more immersive and gets more thought into it.

I’ve been laughing for minutes at how much this tweet sounds like the stuff Khamenei’s fanboys say. It’s identical. Using God as a tool to fool people. The ones who never shut up about "faith and religion" are usually the dirtiest players. If you’re really so godly, pull your head outta people’s asses and stop exploiting faith for your party’s agenda.

Abnormal people do abnormal things. Bad people do bad things. Having those bad and abnormal people do these things in our country is a side effect of living in freedom and liberty. You have to deal with abnormal and bad people doing abnormal and bad things. And still so much better than the alternative. It’s why 250 years ago people fought struggled and died so that we could deal with people doing these things in the proper way, rather than have a kings army policing the streets, with one kings opinion being what rules all. -
Or stacked in the bathroom during dinner parties….right?

Haha, I doubt they were on the network. I even doubt the NPR story that a doc was found on a hotel printer. A stolen printout from a US printer could still find its way into a hotel printer and into the fake news cycle. Heck, a US printer On site would still be called a “hotel printer” for some.

That they are even using a hotel printer, which requires connection to the hotels network, is stunning. Next thing you know they will use Signal to discuss war plans with a journalist. -
A hotel employee grabbed a copy, requiring a re-print. Lesson: bring your own printer, and/or audit every print request.

The Trump administration hiring practices make one long for DEI. The level of incompetence from the cabinet level down is stunning. But competence is not the hiring criteria, allegience is. It is why Hegseth still has a job in spite of his epic, historical incompetence on top of his lack of qualifications. -
Professional Folkstyle over freestyle
WhiteCloud replied to Theangryeagle's topic in College Wrestling
The rule modifications are great too. 3, 3-minute periods. 2 minute standing overtime. Continue to wrestle if bottom person stands while double leg ride is in. 20 point "super-tech fall" and that's with 2 pt takedown and 2-3 pt near fall. More wrestling is always better. -
A mole printed the extra copy and leaked to NPR.
