I was assured no one is above the law
GreatWhiteNorth replied to Scouts Honor's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
We all know he did nothing wrong - which is why he was released shortly thereafter. That, and the fact that he was a notable figure who couldn't simply be stashed away somewhere conveniently. Just as Husker just admitted, the current administration is crooked. Their agencies round up people without warrants on a regular basis. Some are "disappeared", and nobody hears from them - just as they do in Russia and China. Others are transferred to holding facilities far from where their support system could help them. This is the type of cruel behavior that the US Constitution doesn't allow. Yet, it is exactly what the Trump administration is focused on doing - and they are accelerating this crookedness. -
Senator Mike Lee mocks Minnesota assassinations...
scourge165 replied to scourge165's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Yup. Mike Lee, this year, has Tweeted over 9000 times. That's once ever 13+ minutes(nearly 14 minutes). Assuming it's one at a time. You can see the people who think they can copy Trump into power in '28. I can't imagine Trump saying this though(and he...says a lot). -

I really don't see what the guy did wrong. You need a Warrant to just take someone. Asking for the Warrant is... pretty standard. We're not just going to accept Govt' agencies coming and rounding us up now without a warrant, right? The agent saying, 'oh, we've got it.' Well...then provide it! -
There was personal info I gave out? Ahem... you are hallucinating if you think I gave out personal information. What's wrong with this world is the people that think lies are OK. We all need to do better than constant lies. (Even if our current President can't seem to figure that one out.)

Senator Mike Lee mocks Minnesota assassinations...
GreatWhiteNorth replied to scourge165's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Mike Lee makes a good case that he is a disgusting excuse for a lawmaker. A political assassin goes on a killing spree, and he thinks it's a good idea to mock the victims? At least he (or his staff) had the decency to delete the garbage tweets he posted. -

Hard to argue with that. Good to see Husker coming around to the reality of our current situation. -
White Conservatives are the biggest threat
Tripnsweep replied to Scouts Honor's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Up until 9/11, the deadliest terrorist attacks in this country were all perpetrated by angry white supremecists/militia/anti government types. Kind of says something. Quick trivia, without Google, though I'm sure most of you will, 9/11 also took a rather infamous record away from another incident in New York City. What was it? -
I like how Cav/JimmySpeaks gets so mad about this. But then turns around and insists that Trump supporters and Trump himself are definitely not racist.

Just watched. (spoiler) I wouldn’t say it was “very political.” Politics weren’t mentioned until the last 25 minutes or so, and only about Jordan, I don’t think there was anything about the “GOP in general.” Towards the end was definitely anti-Jordan, but it was based on the stories of the multiple wrestlers (and referee) that were interviewed. They said Hellickson had told them he would support them, but then ghosted them, and they blamed Jordan for that, since they said Jordan also called them asking them to publicly support himself. But I think the bigger “hit piece” was more against Ohio State, rightfully so. Jordan was of course also mentioned earlier in the doc, but usually in conjunction with Hellickson. There was definitely the implication earlier on that they blew off allegations at the time. Which then was contrasted to the female fencing coach actually making complaints. One thing I don’t recall reading about previously was the steroid allegations. I thought the story of Dan Ritchie, as well as the hockey player were particularly sad.

We should trust you? Uh-huh. Have you a bridge to sell us?

Not even a tiny bit. Did you even bother to click the link for the posts you reposted? Weak. So pathetically weak. Remember that today and 13 years ago are completely different animals.

Because I knew blue peoples would never admit what she said and twist everything they could to make it sound otherwise. It messes with their narrative.

Your "flimsy" polls and stats. Keep pulling them out of thin air as if they actually should mean something.

And here you just posted a twitter post that is a CNN reference from 2012!?! Why do you dummies keep trying to blame Obama and Hilary for today's issues? Give it a break. Trump is the only president ever who wants to be a king. Just him. A collection of one.

What’s the Best Piece of Advice You’ve Ever Received?
GreatWhiteNorth replied to jross's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Nope. Wrong again. Why are you such a tool about this? I'd like to say it once, but boneheads like you just don't get it. The phrase "Done is better than perfect" doesn't include any mention of "time-sensitive scenarios" - which is exactly why it's such a terrible quote. If modified by time constraints, which it isn't, it would make sense. (But it would have to be a different quote.) And "Perfect is always better than done. Always. Every single time" is per the definition of "perfect" - something that simply can't get any better. It is perfection. Which makes it universally true. -

What the hell? I thought the media didn't care? Also, who "keeps asking her?" Fox, NY Post? What are you looking for here? 'f'ing whack call' is at LEAST as likely as 'f'ing white girl,' given how many white women she plays with and she just fouled...a black girl and got called for the foul. One makes sense, one really doesn't. But...benefit of the doubt, both are possible and equally likely. If it's "f'ing white girl," like you so badly need it to be...what do you want done here? I can't stand her as a person, but you're SO outraged, you're not sure what she said, you're only convincing yourself you are. And based on what you're convincing yourself of, you want WHAT done? A hypothetical "what if" and asking 'what if Clark said f'ing black girl?' People would care more. They'd care more because more people care about Clark, because the league is predominately black and because the HEAVY-HEAVY burden we as white people have to carry is a... racial(I don't even know what you'd call it, it's not a slur) doesn't QUITE hit as hard because of...ya know, the last 400 years. So what do you want between this thread and a 3rd thread in which we AGAIN rehash this, what outcome would you like here?
