  2. Interesting in that Pantaleo isn't qualified for WTT, is he? Some guys that had failed to up to then have used Pan Ams to qualify.

  4. On the Virginia Tech board, they are saying that Jaden Bullock is entering the portal. To me that means that there could likely be traction between Michigan and either Fishback or Stewart (i'm just reading between the lines)
  5. So since you brought this in I am inclined to ask, how do they feel, and if you take a look inside how do you feel, about all the time you spend on here every day and night wrapped up in continuous, pointless arguments with internet strangers, when much more of it could be spent with them, being present? Friendly piece of advice…you never know when there will be no more time to spend. Shiite happens, even to very healthy people.
  6. I'm sure that many are. I won't name anyone specifically because i think it would be in bad taste, but I know of someone personally who went there (was targeted/recruited from another state) who had plenty of money before going there.
  7. I'm worried about Spencer's lack of hair in this match.
  8. Kirk is Chris's grandfather.
  9. I’ll take Lee with two straight techs

  11. I assume if there is scholarship money available they can, and they can definitely get NIL.
  12. Tate Picklo in the portal
  13. I’m assuming “walk on’s” can still earn schollies and $
  14. I think that is the loophole @Idaho referenced above.
  15. Does a kid actually have to enter the portal to move schools? According to Damien Hahn the Iowa kids just showed up in his office asking to join the team and we’re never in the portal.
  16. Like China huh?
  17. Says the guy that lies daily, er hourly on here
  18. The Martha’s Vineyard due process should apply nationally.
  19. Not sure what that has to do with your inner hatred. The stress of carrying it will get you without you even knowing.
  20. There would need to be a change to how scholarships are typically funded. Schools do not like to rely on year to year funding as it is uncertain, making it impossible to do any long term planning. So they typically require the scholarship to be endowed. Depending on the assumptions the school makes about investment returns they may require a 20:1 (or more) ratio. So twenty scholarships at $50k each, or $1 million, would require an upfront, one-time contribution of at least $20 million.
  21. The left won’t care one bit about this.
  22. The second chart is interesting. Two takeaways from that at a glance: 1) The old PAC schools were underrated, historically speaking. Presumably due to lack of competition and rankers not respecting their schedules. Kind of doubt that will still be the case moving forward. and 2) Big 10 guys in the middle tier of their respective weight classes tend to outperform seeds. I think people are generally aware of this--a Big 10 wrestler with a ~.500 record can still be quite dangerous at NCAAs, but will probably be seeded in the 20's. Interesting to see some data backing it up.
