    You could, but Mendez, the two time defending NCAA D1 champ, who had just beaten Johnny D, a 4xer (141/149) at OTT the year prior should have been expected to cruise there. I think it is absolutely stupid when there are three shot clock points awarded. The ref has essentially decided the victor there.

Division 1 program whose athletic programs compete at the highest levels and is perennially a top 15 athletics program in the state regardless of school size and it's wrestling program reflects that same level of success competing at the team state finals as well as sending multiple qualifiers annually to the state individual finals annually.     No, Buvaiser soundly defeated Kenny Monday 6-1 in the semis in 1996. The next American he faced was Slay in 2000. Slay did beat him but it was a crazy match that should not have been so close but Slay blocked and blocked and lost to Slay 4-3. Saitiev only lost one other match in 2006 WCs, 3-0, 2-2, 1-1 to Mihail Ganev of Bulgaria. Both lost matches were very close and showed he was not insurmountable, it just had to be with the right combination and stars aligning and all that. Interestingly, the only other American he faced was Joe Williams who lost to Saitiev 5-4. mspart

He is locked and loaded and no amount of evidence will move him from his now un-thoughtful positions.     Yeah... being that Blaze is the only one who made ANY offensive attacks in that match, I think he'll be just fine going forward. It was 2-1 and Blaze was down... all on shot clocks, despite Blaze making the offensive effort. He was pushing him out, made a reaching shot and Mendez got behind. The match was weak on Mendez's part. Blaze was the considerably smaller guy and he couldn't capitalize.
