  1. Windows block UV rays. Otherwise every wrestler would need to wear sunblock in practice and they’d end up looking like 2010 Ohio State.
  2. Why is this a surprise to you? He insulted a billion Muslims on ESPN. That is not smart. The guy also never loses and beat the guy some thought might go down as the greatest US wrestler get….so why wouldn’t he think he has supernatural powers?
  3. “We beat Cael every year and we are the standard.” -Iowa fans in 2011.
  4. For years Cornell built their team around transferring guys in from community college. It also takes two seconds to see that they accept transfers, as do other ivies. https://admissions.cornell.edu/how-to-apply/transfer-applicants
  5. Penn State wasn’t a big time job until Cael. Now, it all depends on who has NIL money.
  6. Was he actually a lifeguard on a beach? If so, saving 6 people does not seem outlandish. A friend of mine would lifeguard in the summers and said they had to go out and save people all the time.
  7. It's very real and it's guaranteed.
  8. You don't like the idea of having one of the most decorated US lightweight wrestlers ever coaching/training with the lightweights? Outside of PSU, Taylor will probably have the strongest room in the country in terms of senior-level accolades.
  9. As long as he managed to put 300K into the stock market, I think he'll be ok based on some things that I've read on this forum.
  10. I hear he's interested in the MFA program in Theatre Arts at Minnesota.
  11. Who cares if it's all PSU guys? They're the best program out there, and none of the others are close.
  12. No, because it was the AD’s call.
  13. But was he wrong? Seems like he's on to something here based purely on the results.
  14. To my knowledge, he hasn't really addressed it in detail or much at all (other than through his lawyers). The prosecutors said he would have been charged in Wisconsin, but his lawyers said he's innocent. The victim hasn't ever come forward. So I don't see a problem with people who choose to support him, but I also don't have an issue with fans who choose not to.
  15. Is it moronic to dislike him because of the action, even if the laws in Mn didn't allow for a criminal charge? It seems like it would make sense that you'd have some people who hold it against him while others do not.
  16. At least he has some personality!
  17. It also isn't a good idea to keep somebody who wanted the job and will leave right away.
  18. But even if there's more competition, is competing more better? It's not as if the international athletes compete every week, and that is the highest level of the sport.
  19. You think he's going to bring the famous binder with him?
  20. I agree that the dominance has killed the sport-I don't think it's a coincidence that TV ratings are the lowest they've been years. The sport needs a competitive team race and some guys with personalities. Not the "wrestling is fun" but watching it isn't steamroller.
  21. He have a farm too?
  22. Except they've been dominant for years and have only been getting better. And not just in NCAA competition, but they've really started to do well internationally as well. There was zero indication that they were getting complacent.
  23. I have no idea, but why would he leave UNC unless he was told he'd get the job?
  24. I think he has to clean house. Maybe Mark Hall? Dake eventually? Molinaro?
