  1. Are we sure Hutmacher is a NQ level wrestler at this point?
  2. Peyton Robb v Jacori Teemer 2022 NCAA's consi-semi (I think). Shayne Van Ness v Ethen Miller 2023 NCAA's R1. Jay Borschel vs Chris Heinrich 2010 NCAA's semi.
  3. David Carr 2022-2023 season comes to mind. Had 3 wins over NCAA Champs, 4 wins over guys that made an NCAA final, and 8 wins over guys that were All-Americans.
  4. Can we add Cole Matthews to the HEW list?
  5. I'd imagine lifetime 125 as well.
  6. Yes, but I could see Brands going to the well again if it's a close dual like many expect.
  7. Was he committed to an Ivy League school previously? This is not a rhetorical question, I actually don't know. But idk about him being too small for college. He's a lifetime 125 which is VERY valuable nowadays and he can freaking scrap. I'm really high on him.
  8. I respect it. I'm high on Pinto as well. I'm also high on Gabe. Maybe too high given his limited college resume. But hopefully we'll see it happen. I'm very intrigued.
  9. How much better, if any, do we see Pinto being than Feldkamp? I think Feldkamp and Pinto are very similar both in terms of style and results. I think Gabe controls where the action takes place and wins one that is close on the scoreboard, but never in danger.
  10. I'd imagine 125: Drake 133: Teske 141: Real 149: Rathjen 157: Franek 165: Caliendo 174: Kennedy 184: Gabe (I think they'll need him to win) 197: Glazier HWT: Keuter If that's the case, I have: 125: Smith dec (3-0) 133: Van dee dec (6-0) 141: Real dec (6-3) 149: Ridge dec (9-3) 157: Robb dec (12-3) 165: Caliendo dec (12-6) 174: Kennedy dec (12-9) 184: Gabe dec (12-12) 197: Allred dec (15-12) HWT: Keuter dec (15-15)
  11. Gotta think so. Maybe even the favorite in that match. Kerk is well under 285, Hutmacher is coming down from 330. I mean AJ is the favorite over Aaron Brooks right? Given AJ is coming down from 230 to 197 and Brooks is coming up from 184 to 197.
  12. I agree with this, with Brooks and Hidlay having some separation on the field,
  13. Most upperclassmen generally live off-campus and the host the parties, or know where the parties are.
  14. Most programs are dry in-season, but not 365.
  15. I know for a fact Okie State was NOT dry as of about 5-6 years ago. Could have changed though.
  16. Well spoken by a woman that has every right to be enraged. Hope this gets rectified. Anyone have the screenshots of Fernandes' mom and Lillard's mom? Please share if so.
  17. As someone that shifted weights in college myself, I agree that if he outgrew 133 that's one thing. But I heard weight management, as in he let it get out of control. Again that's just a rumor, as I don't have my own two ears on the ground.
  18. I think him and Johnny McEnroe would get along.
  19. Yea I heard Seltzer is in the doghouse with coaches over weight management. Not sure what that means moving forward for him, but there ya go.
  20. I'd personally like to see a round-off, back flip, land in the splits, double bird. Crowd would go nuts.
  21. Lol. Yes. Happens in EVERY college sport, not just wrestling. College athletes take recruits out and show them a good time. Now there's always exceptions. Coach might tell the team beforehand, "Hey this kid doesn't like to party." And the team will adjust their plans accordingly. Trust me, I've seen/heard it more than you'd believe.
  22. A very vast majority of programs party in the offseason, yes.
  23. I was under the assumption that Kemerer was turned off by his Iowa visit because the guys that hosted him took him out partying, which he had no interest in doing. Which that happens at 99% of wrestling programs. I'm not sure he was turned off because of the bad culture surrounding the program, however. I could be wrong, but that's how I understood that situation.
