  1. Where are you guys watching Iowa State WOs?
  2. Ever heard of the phrase “Separate but equal”? Yeah. That’s what this is. You create a second class of citizens who can’t have the same thing, a state-sanctioned marriage, as another group of people. Everyone or no one. Pretty simple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Because if a state sanctions marriages for some and civil unions for others, even if they are practically the same, it’s still discrimination on the basis of sex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. And they are just as likely to fight each other as they are US forces. Maybe even more likely.
  5. "Afghan".
  6. Because he wants to be a full size 189.6lb wrestler. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The lowest estimate I’ve seen is that 30 million Americans are food insecure. In the richest country in the world, 1 out of 10 Americans is either hungry or malnourished. Looks like people better up their charitable giving. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I would imagine if you can get into one, you can get into the other, yeah. Both are a golden ticket. I DO wonder if he’s going to follow Aires to Palo Alto. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. If the individual citizens are the deciders, yeah, some people are going to be have-nots. Whether it’s race, religion, or that-dude’s-cousin-banged-my-sister, people won’t give freely to everyone. We don’t live in utopia. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I’d ask you provide examples, because I’d like to see you embarrass yourself speaking on an issue you know nothing about, and ask you to provide your own original thought, but you will invariably just provide a link to a Twitter post from an alt-right, maybe RT-correspondent blogger. 11. I think everyone would prefer that. No one wants the government to be forced to take care of children to prevent them from being malnourished or starving. Or seniors, for that matter. And yet, that’s not reality. If the good will of neighbors was actually sufficient, that would be great, but it’s not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Pretty sure he gave up the same move three times. Plus a gut on the first one. The fact that the Azeri wasn’t put on the clock was surprising. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Both Haines AND Messenbrink at 165. So, one of them takes a RS, the other goes 157. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. He’s a USAFA cadet*. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. O’Toole. Carr will make his own improvements. Then, if Ferrari comes back at 197, Brooks. Otherwise he skates through the regular season. Then, Starocci. I think Lewis is going up. Griffith is great but he’s not Mekhi. Foca wasn’t close last year. Vito is in his own league. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Cardenas is a head taller than Patil. Patil looks like he could diet down to 79. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Brooks by first period tech. Great match by him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. That’s a problem with the rule set. Russian dude did nothing to earn that point and was not in an offensive position at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah. TitleIX is the only person on this board who can get, quite literally, everyone else to unite against him. It’s quite amazing, actually. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Jimmy? TitleIV? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. To clarify: Brooks BEAT Zahid Valencia; he didn’t just “wrestle him close”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Any idea what Jamill Kelly is going to do? I'm assuming he isn't being retained with the new regime.
  23. Let me know when the author of this story provides an update and the scandal breaks. It's only been 14 years. In 8 years of Obama presidency, an election campaign and a re-election campaign, no one was able to dig up any dirt on either of them re: law licenses? Really? The comments on that article are, um, batshit crazy, by the way. Just about perfect examples of the wildest days of the Tea Party.
  24. It's the amounts and the method that apparently result in the "best" results. From that BBC link: "In 2010, Salazar became aware of a legal supplement that could boost levels of L-carnitine - which occurs naturally in the body and helps convert fat to energy - and produce a significant performance boost. The problem was it took about six months of drinking the supplement to notice any difference. Salazar didn't want to wait that long. UK researchers had devised a method to produce the same result by infusing intravenously the supplement using a drip, over four hours. Salazar wanted to test this, and Magness was to be the guinea pig. Reluctantly, he agreed and the results were instant. "Almost unbelievable," said Magness."
  25. Now? I'm not sure. At the time, there was a limit to how much you could infuse in any given timeframe. Here's WADA's report on it: https://safe.menlosecurity.com/doc/docview/viewer/docN20767B9E39F1005cb9780b7c85459f36199f7cafdfc0d1c290025e08d0ac0c7c99671dfe6824
