  1. Instant zero credibility when an internet key board warrior says something like this...LOL Next you will list your degree's, your work history, how smart you are without anyone being able to confirm or deny it...what a freaking weak argument...but not totally unexpected from you. Go read a book and then come back and tell us how you are instantly now an expert...LOL
  2. No mention of the D's doing the same thing and playing the same game on this very issue due to TDS a few years ago?? Didn't think so... On issues like this I think it is stupid to lump other things in the bill...I understand the need to do it to have somewhat collaboration, but this just seems crazy to have funding for wars built into the bill...but that is a whole other topic. Still waiting to hear if anyone knows what happens to the 5000+ people that are allowed in...are they vetted? Just let them in? Also, what is the additional $$$ for more agents going to be used for? Patrol? Vetting the 5000+? Other? All of the above?
  3. So what YOU believe in should be imposed on others...got it! When you start your argument with a statement completely contradicting yourself...and then a statement that is completely wrong and weasel worded you lose all credibility..."essentially banning abortion completely"...before I ask you to tell me what states have done so I guess I should ask what your definition of "essentially" is. And because you think majority of people in NY and LA lean one way it is the "majority" of how every single state feels you again lose any sort of credibility. The SCOTUS decision didn't ban a thing...they gave states the power to decide on the issue....which constitutionally is the right decision. I too don't care what AJ's personal believes are, and I too don't want someone to push them on me PERSONALLY...but decisions/policies to me are based on personal opinion/data/logic...couldn't care less if the politicians who made those decisions/policies go to church or not.
  4. So again, what is the problem?? How is your life adversely effected? Because YOU feel there is a political majority?? You are right the idea is that the court should be an independent branch meant to regulate the CONSITUTION and when a courts decision goes against what you personally believe it does not mean the decision made was done for political reasons. And why do you want to delegitimize it?? That is an asinine way to think of it no matter what your political lean is. Would you feel this way if the majority was "left" right now? I think we all know the answer. To me if it was...again, would it effect me personally...nope! As for it not reflecting voter will...what, you want to have the Supreme Court changed every election period?? Seriously?? SMH Still waiting to hear what problem the current system is and how changing the number is a solution to any sort of root cause other then someone's political believe. If you can argue the LEGALITY of any of the Supreme Court decisions and how they are completely wrong....LEGALLY...go for it...we all will wait!
  5. Agreed Rasta!!!
  6. Here is my take on this issue, the first question I would ask before expanding the Supreme Court is what problem is it trying to solve by doing so? If there is good reason and expanding the court is the solution to the root cause of the problem than I would be for it. If it is for political reason's...absolutely not! And as an "average" American, nothing in my life is effected, adversely, by the current number of justices.
  7. I have not read the bill. My question based on what you posted (not necessarily directed at you but anyone) is what is happening to the 5,000 or more aliens? Are they just let in? Or is the additional money used to hire people to help process and vet them to see if we should or shouldn't let them in?
  8. So sad when I heard this morning!! RIP!
  9. Soo....what the people living on the boarder and the boarder control agents have to say means nothing, huh? The boarder is a freaking mess!! Still have yet to hear how specifically the laws are so complicated that we can't keep people from overwhelming the boarder...I don't buy it just because one person says so...sorry Vak. This is more than rhetoric...we could secure our boarders if we/congress/president truly wanted to. Politics, and not "complicated laws" is the reason the boarder is a mess. If it was shut down, a portion of our population (those like TPT and BB) would lose their freaking minds and that is what politicians are afraid of. Add on top of that the stupid grandstanding of R's vs. D's. How a secure boarder is this not a priority for some people and think it's better to just let people in versus shut it down until we come up with a better solution is beyond me. The whole crap of the current boarder situation is best summed up by the illegal who attacked a cop and gets let out of jail right away and flips off the camera...
  10. So the laws are so complex that we do nothing?? How is that the answer?? The whole "it's so complicated" crap is a copout and nothing but a political ploy. To me if "smart" people can't figure out what the laws say and how to enforce them then we shut the board down until we figure it out. Again, how is that complicated??
  11. I absolutely love KOT, Carr, MM and Star...but based on the eye test, Star is on his own level...IMHO
  12. I was joking with you WNK. I max out my 401k every year and have a pension so personally haven't dabbled in the stock market myself or with a financial advisor. I have invested in land to help augment my retirement and if all goes well and the economy continues to improve I should be able to retire when I am 60 and have the same take home pay I have now.
  13. Again...why is this so complicated as some point out? Enforce the freaking laws...period!! Can go back and forth on the R's are blocking progress or the D's are blocking progress, but just enforce the laws. The biggest difference I see in terms of the R's vs. D's is that Trump wanted to shut down the boarder and was blocked over and over, but Biden has done nothing, and it has gotten worse...until now he wants to do something because it is finally acknowledged by him and his administration...because of the election. So ridiculous. To me it all goes back to our congress seem to never be able to work together...wish there was an easier way to get people out when they refuse to do their job. I personally would rather see something done even if it isn't a complete fix to the problem versus doing nothing because of D vs. R crap. And yes our boarders should and need to be secure.
  14. Care to give me some insights into what I should be invested in??
  15. I agree that Vito's win against RBY was very impressive, I still sort of agree with Le Duke that he and Star are in different categories. I don't think that is a slight to Vito in anyway as he is one of the greats, but being on the verge of 4/5 is in it's own category with those that have or are in the running to achieve that.
  16. LOL...ouch
  17. O'Toole wins by lateral drop on Starocci
  18. Just another topic TPT claims to be an expert in...preach on TPT...preach on
  19. Amazing how people change the meaning of things to fit a narrative....SMH. Mental health care IS NOT banned for kids...period!
  20. There is a HUGE difference between policies that are systemically racist and meant to keep a certain demographic group "down" versus results of poor management of cities/areas/schools/etc. Property taxes in the areas you speak of are low because people don't want to live there, because of decisions that law makers and city officials have made to make it less appealing to live there...period!! Thus, there isn't a lot of money for the schools. Yell at the city leaders for being terrible leaders and making terrible decisions that force people to leave the city and move elsewhere. There wasn't a devious policy out there or systemic racism that is directed at keeping a certain group down, it was just bad decisions. Have there been systemic racism in our past...OF COURSE...and that is terrible but that has changed. Same goes for your supposed argument about Health Care Policy...you paint that as somehow related to policy meant to keep one group "down" over another. Health Care policy could be improved, sure, but it isn't part of this systemic racism claim you and your ilk like to throw out there. And how in the heck would an improved health care policy make it easier for someone to get a better job?? How about get a better job and get better health care?? And your attack once again on rich people and corporations is laughable...you do understand what happens when you over tax big corporations don't you...yep...people lose those good jobs you just claimed people need to get, or products people buy now become too expensive for every person in all the different demographics to buy...you'll then be yelling systemic racism again over something you ask to have happen. Do you actually even think your thoughts through, or do you just love the emotional part of trying to spew illogical and incorrect things because your ideological group tells you to? And by the way, in our society, you absolutely can have fair, but not equal! I will never be smart enough to be a doctor, nor big enough or athletic enough to play professional sports...thus I don't deserve to get paid what they do. I can work hard at other things and earn as much money as I am willing to put forth the effort to earn. Equality is about everyone having the same chance. There are policies and programs in the US that help those who maybe aren't starting at the same point as others based on uncontrolled circumstances like who their parents are and how wealthy or poor they are.
  21. Exactly...and the intent of why Israel did it versus the intent of the terrorist group is drastically different. Que UB coming to the defense of Hamas....
  22. I'll let the law and our judicial system figure out what is right and wrong in this case and how much and who has to pay. However, her appearance on MSNBC was NOT a good look and in very bad taste...very cringe worthy and is just another thing for people to not believe her. Just as Trump saying things during the hearings didn't do him any favors either.
  23. LOL...agreed...I keep telling myself not to respond to him as it is useless...but sometimes I just can't help myself...I'll do better.
  24. Holy crap...is that your MO...just barf out a bunch of emotional statements about what has happened in the past and that makes you feel like you made some sort of point. Did those things happen...sure...did we as a country realize it was wrong and try and fix policies so it isn't that way any longer...absolutely. People like you can scream out these emotional talking points over and over but never have a point or a fix. The US, again not perfect by any means, but sure has done A LOT to fix the bad things it had engaged in and how it oppressed people in the past. We cannot make up for what has happened in the past other than change policies for the better moving forward. What policies are in place currently that is keeping some group from gaining ground? What policies right now are in place that puts people at a disadvantage over others? How would you provide a more equal floor for every single person in the US?? Give specifics My opinion...the us will never be equal...but it is fair. Opportunities are there for all people who are willing to work hard and take advantage of them.
  25. Talk about babble...where did Ohio ban mental health treatments...still waiting....I am sure you will respond with some b.s. about hate/privilege/some kind of phobe/etc. Also, please explain why you have completely disregarded your comments about experimenting on kids and tried the semantics game and name calling.
