Thanks draggit. Mitchell brings 25 to 30 points at ncaa next year. The brands factor does not achieve.5 of that. Bring Iowa back to relevance!

Just because Mitchell is articulate and not a bird hunter, it should not disqualify him from the opportunity. Just trying to help a down program rebuild....

I am a 4 time high school non placer just like Jimmy, but am not Jimmy. It's never been done in the sport. Why not debate it?

Always impressed with Mitchells interviews and relentless wrestling. Would it be a good choice to hire him after his Jr year and then he could wrestle for Iowa and set the new tone as the head coach as well? This would be a good way for Iowa to get a national champ and a hot commodity coach as well. Thoughts?

Give Bono credit for recruiting talent. He goes after only the best and finest in the world. Mesenbrink didn’t make his list based on that algorithm. Bedtime for Bozo..,

There will be a lot of bird hunting by the Hawkeyes tomorrow to build team strength and team building.

Wisconsin vs Indiana would be a barn burner!

Others Receiving Votes: Wisconsin 25, Indiana, 24, Appalachian State 18, Campbell 9, Penn 5, Navy 4, Northern Illinois 1 Dropped out: No. 21 Wisconsin (6-4), No. 23 Navy (6-5)

They are not even in top 25 teams in D1

They will not finish top 25. barnett 8th at best hamiti 5th thats it…. No heavy weight on the horizon either

Wisconsin wrestling would compete well in D2? Did I miss they have a strong recruiting class coming in? It is embarrassing what Bono has done…

Nelson Brands…. 4 takedowns!

Does anyone work harder or train for 2nd place better than the Iowa Hawkeyes wrestling team? They have a good recruiting class coming in, but if I was the AD I would be looking for the next coaching staff..

It’s more about the Hawkeyes not getting takedowns or attempting them.. of course take out Spencer…. It seems the strategy is to push out a guy straight back and call for stalling. At best Iowa is a strong defensive wrestling team…

Amazing! 1st takedown in a month! Go Hawkeyes!
