Easy...I like what he has done with the boarder...I am all for people coming to the USA but doing it legally...doing it illegally hurts everyone for many reasons. I like the change in narrative around police and the rule of law. I like people that are here on a visa and support a terrorist organization being deported (funny that you claim it is because they are critics of Trump LOL), I like the idea of further increasing the production of oil in the USA, I like the concept of DOGE and removing waste within the government. I'll ask you, can you show me where Trump is catering to Putin policies? Like actual evidence versus saying something like "His kidnapping critics and sending them to foreign prison policies" which is categorically false and just a talking point.

Honestly...and I've said it before on one of the other 10 threads about tariffs...I am not an economist, I don't know the details of everything (mostly because I haven't take the time to do a deep dive into tariffs and the pros and cons for each situation), so I am a wait and see guy on the tariffs...the very little I do know I sort of get it how it could work for our advantage but I can also see how maybe it could hurt us in terms of short term costs of products...but one thing I haven't seen, or even believe is the "oh my gosh the economy is going to crash and we are going into another depression". And I have no idea why you brought up the topic of him running for another 4 years...what does that have to do with anything other than another reason for you Trump haters to jump up and down and scream..."SEE!!! SEE!!!". Do I for one second think that could ever happen or will happen...NOPE!! Thus, I don't spend any sort of mental thoughts or emotions on it. But clearly you do...so have at it...I just wish you would stop calling people names...shows a high level of mental weakness...in my opinion

Is it because someone said he doesn't like one of Trump's policies and that person just happens to be a professor at the same university Trump went to seems to hold some sort of special water?? Claiming your 401k is doing ok is claiming Trump is an economic genius?? What the....

You obviously haven't read most of my posts on here to claim Trump is my "True LORD AND MASTER"...and quite frankly you claiming that shows a ton of ignorance on your part...maybe even more so than claiming you know how every single person's 401k is performing. I am not a huge Trump supporter...just like all the Presidents before him (both R and D) I like some of the things he does but dislike some other stuff too. I think he is a loudmouth blowhard, that clearly trolls people to get a reaction out of them (which works amazingly), but I am able to remove his personality down fall from my opinion on policies. I get it some people can't do that and then just blindly hate every policy of his...but no skin off my behind I just find it funny.

Same...mine dropped quite a bit during Covid but rebounded nicely. I tend to move things around in terms of my investments in my 401k...I usually look at that about once or twice a year...don't get me wrong I am NO expert on that just very high-level basic understanding of the type of mutual fund and its historical performance...one could say I get lucky with some of my guesses.

First off, where did I say anything about Trump in my post? Second, why did you make it about Trump? Finaly, you truly believe you know how well or bad every single person's 401k is doing?? LOL You know what they are invested in for each 401k?? LOL...again, you people who scream "the sky is falling" crack me up, 4 years will go by, a new person will be voted in, and then there will be a new reason for some of you to scream "the sky is falling"...when in reality only about 0.5% of the TERRIBLE things you people say are going to happen, actually happen. You and others want to live your life like that have at it. My life is great regardless of who the president is.

Hmmm...nothing has changed in my life since January...things are about the same, maybe even better as I still got my bonus and raise at work. My family are all healthy and happy, no one is starving or living on the streets. Feels very similar to the previous 4 years...and very similar to the 4 years before that...but if I read these threads I would think my 401k is at zero (it's doing about as well as it has the last 10 years - up and down but mostly up), we are at the start of a great depression, and everything I buy will cost 10 times more than they do now. Can't imagine how terrible of a life some of you on here live...and you live that way by choice...SMH

Does it suck...maybe, maybe not...a lot of the reasons for it have to do with personal choices, hard work, sacrifice, etc....I know you and a couple others will get their undies in a bunch over it, but it's the truth. You criticize @jross for potentially being an engineer supervisor or whatever, but you make no mention of the sacrifice and hard work HE put in to get that degree, how he must have done really well at his job to get promoted, and saved and spent wisely to be in the position he is in. So once again all you do is belly ache about nonsense.
