  1. Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. Apologies.
  2. Add bronze medal at the Kunayev this morning (10-0).
  3. Sweet mother of God, you make them sound like NCAA team trophy winners.
  4. Close: "Technical Entrepreneurship"
  5. Tate Samuelson would like a word.
  6. Is this the Princeton team that is likely to score zero or, to be generous, two points at NCAAs this year? As bad as Lehigh has gotten, and despite the occasional dual win by Princeton, Lehigh continues to field a better team. Now Penn and Columbia, on the other hand...
  7. "Missed it by that much"
  8. My ignorance is showing. What are the "certs," then? The lowest they are allowed to wrestle or something?
  9. I have a Flo subscription, I'm certainly not a coach for any team, and I can see the weight certs just fine.
  10. https://uww.org/event/u23-world-championships/brackets
  11. "Polak" is the Polish word for a male Pole. "Pole" is the English word for someone who is Polish (and it's even shorter than your choice!). Many would consider "Polak" (or "Polack") derogatory. I'm not offended, just a bit surprised.
  12. First "Jap," then "Polak"? Really?
  13. Confirmed (Bill Farrell is one of the "methods" referenced):
  14. With the way he wears his religiosity on his sleeve, Penn State wouldn't surprise me. Princeton used to have a roster page for him, but no more. It'd be odd if they thought he was matriculating but then took a gap year.
  15. MAM is not listed on Princeton's roster, either. Hmmm.
  16. Vito was battling a physical issue that week, barely beating McGee who he had beaten handily at CKLF, and losing to Latona who he also beat handily at CKLF (both scores 6-1). Vito skipped the next three duals. The Latona & McGee matches were anomalies that are not likely to be repeated.
  17. He was silver last year, FWIW. He wrestles 197 for Cornell, or 89kg. Can't imagine how he is competitive at 97kg during the season or at OTT a month after NCAAs.
  18. The knee wrap was pulled down before the spray was "administered," I believe.
  19. No, they really don't. They likely used that as input for the coaches' decisions.
  20. Dom graduated from the College of Engineering at Cornell, so he had the chops to get into Stanford grad school. Provo was a Cornell commit, as well. At the time they all switched, none really had much of a chance to break into Cornell's lineup. In retrospect, Cardenas would have, but now would have to beat Shapiro for the 157 spot. (edit) Wrestlestat has Cornell winning a dual against Stanford 34-3, with only Abas beating Handlovic. Each and every one of them made a great choice to go to Stanford, with Koll's help. Stanford first, Koll, second. No comment about the women at Stanford or Cornell from me.
  21. Nit: no red shirts in the Ivy League. Either you are enrolled and using eligibility (or expecting a medical leave), or you are not enrolled.
