  1. Great name for his next supplement. The improved formula.
  2. I don't think age cheating helps as much with women, who tend to mature and peak fairly early. (at least as far as physically) Yianni is on record saying that the Russian he wrestled for his first cadet world title was 20. Vito was training at the guys club and they were joking about how old he was and how no one would beat him at cadets.
  3. Yes, good performance so far... except it appears as if we are going with a team of nine as Mirasola appears to be "out."
  4. My golden is nowhere near as abrasive.
  5. If it were men, I'd mention probably credit it to "age cheating" which India has been suspected of for a long time. I'm not sure "age cheating" is as much of an advantage with women.
  6. Dude will stick to his guns and isn't a flip flopper. And if he finds out he's clearly wrong about something, he will apologize and admit to it. That's a standup dude in my book, regardless of whether I agree with him on anything.
  7. I don't think coaches are supposed to have direct involvement with NIL, but it is still The Wild West out there. I have been taking it that Taylor asked his boosters to support the RTC at a greater level than NIL.
  8. That's why I am saying it is likely something is missing or there was possibly some sort of illegal behavior going on. (NCAA illegal or contact law illegal)
  9. Yes. I was thinking a contract hadn't been signed and they screwed The Great American Hero or something similar.
  10. The Ayala/Hamiti/Hendricksen story is likely either woefully incomplete, untrue, or illegal (possibly on multiple levels.)
  11. How can a coach reduce NIL amounts? I would also imagine a contact with a local car dealership, perhaps, was inviolable.
  12. Was Glazier even expected to start last year, or was he a beneficiary of gambling suspensions and/or Ferrari's misadventures?
  13. ... the stallfest..,.
  14. I think the allegations involved how the rest of the women were treated/coached. Certainly some conflict of interests. It is very possible it went deeper than just a consensual relationship with one woman. Some crazy stuff hinted at as the reason for the Iowa exit. Perry obviously knows wrestling. He has been very successful at all of his stops. Why does it appear that he's no longer coaching? You think that just one consensual relationship would do that?
  15. Oklahoma State? Iowa crushed them in the dual last year and they are the only team with more transfers than Iowa. Nice try/
  16. I am not sure it has anything to do with the loss of funding. Really not sure. For whatever reason, I recall the Helen doc being a one day thing right from the start. I am not sure about Perry at Olympics. I'm not sure how many of our women were actually training there at the time. At one point, a family member of one of our best was on the board. All sorts of allegations were made over a period of hours. Really serious stuff. The thread disappeared as did the member, though that may have been voluntary. I would not be surprised is the lack of discussion is due lawyers being involved.
  17. True. But I kinda feel Gilman would hold back on the coaching aspect of the relationship.
