  1. Much like some wrestlers, I was actually bitten by a duck as a child.
  2. Good idea, but I can see it going bad (someone is injured and misses too many matches). The fact is, the kid doesn't belong at 125 based on the existing rules. They found grey areas or tricks to fudge certification and are deliberately manipulating the rules. He is afraid at 133, and likes to use his size advantage against 125s. As an athlete, I was very old school as far as weight cutting, but a lot of this changed after the deaths. Even more changed as I grew older and saw more and more.
  3. According to Coach Ayres, Patrick will have a 'modified weigh-in schedule' for the rest of the season. A while back, Mr. Glory spoke of the 'challenges' of making 125. Gents: This is why we have certification and weigh-in rules. This is exactly what is not supposed to be happening, nor even be able to happen, period. The only way this can happen is purposeful manipulation of the rules, and the body composition/hydration testing system. I've been down this path, as an athlete and coach. It is NOT good for the sport; a sport we were in danger of losing 25 years ago.
  4. "Kyle Burwikk" has eighteen pages
  5. Who is Burwikk?
  6. Daton yes, Spencer no. Spencer isn't going up unless he loses at 57 kg (if 61 kg is an option? Has that been answered?) Crazy thing about the John Smith suckdown is that John didn't do much sucking down himself.
  7. Actually EVERYTHING tastes good after 25 years of prison food
  8. I don't think "frig" means what you think it means. And the FBI has no interest in ostarine. Sorry.
  9. Actually that might help, too.
  10. ... and the reported heights would actually have to be correct.
  11. If only there was a way to keep your strength up while dieting down...
  12. Agreed with everything.
  13. Lee gets the Hodge if he wrestles anything similar to a schedule and wins out at 125. Gilman is not already coronated World Team member at 57 kg. There is still a process to make the team. Fix or Lee or anyone else has the opportunity to knock Gilman off.
  14. And I don't have any strong feelings on Fix whatsoever; I was just explaining why doping is different than other offenses.
  15. I have looked at several times over the past couple years. You are wrong. You are misrepresenting what the doctor said.
  16. Whoa! Where is the committee's report? Are you speculating on their findings now? tsk tsk Please find and post a link!
  17. But unlike the speeder who continues speeding, a doper may be done doping, however may still be getting advantages from past use. There is that vital difference. There was also speculation that everyone involved agreed to the stupid fridge story because Fix "accepted his punishment" and didn't drag out the process.
  18. Many PEDs over benefits in performance which last well beyond the time you were taking them.
  19. How much is he weighing at weigh-ins?
  20. Unless he is wrestling against a high school freshman...
  21. He is real and he is spectacular.
  22. Not to mention that it was top 6 until 1979.
  23. I was pretty much joking, but there have been allegations of deferred payments.
  24. You've got someone's back, you may as well try for an RNC. But I've seen twisting hammerlocks.
  25. I agree. Similar to Bubba and DT at ESU Open.
