  1. Your algorithm has some seriously dark energy.
  2. Brooks said that he and Zahid were having the toughest time making weight at 2024 trials. Also: Can you imagine Braniac Brooks not screwing up if he was under intense testing scrutiny?
  3. Does anyone know how binding his commitment to wrestle for the HWC through 2028 is?
  4. I’m aware. But that’s three years where he can’t train at any RTC, USA club, with any coaches, or with any guys in the top 3 in the us. Plus no competitions. Doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Will also likely need a real job Or they’re bigger cheaters than we imagined …
  5. If brooks suspension is 3 years, he will move on.
  6. Yup. Always a little anecdote for the nepo-baby. Be careful though, maybe you haven’t heard- daddy is a lawyer!
  7. Hidlay said recently that he’s not too big for 86, and would probably go down. That was within the past couple weeks. Obv things can change.
  8. Hey Jeff! The word you’re looking for is “regress.” Digress means to basically go off on a tangent during a conversation. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
  9. I'm still waiting for USADA to say what the actual substance was.
  10. Well done by Jax. I actually was most impressed by him in two situations where he gave up points. 1. When he scrambled out of a sure takedown to a leg-in position that would have scored in folk (and the fight off the back) and 2. Weaseling his way out of the cradle.
  11. Lots of potential upper body positions in Gomez/Duke bout if it happens. Not sure who that favors.
  12. The opposite of soccer...
  13. I was hugely disappointed in Wyatt. He looked terrible. He also looked terrible against Hilger and unimpressive at RAF. just didn't like your reasoning.
  14. Kueter was wrestling with one hip. You love making injury excuses to make your point, but disregard the fact that other guys may be hurt if it goes against your point. Pretty sure smart Wyatt beats that version of Masoumi.
  15. Are you talking about the same Masoumi who skirted by skinny Ben Kueter, or does he have a brother? Because that was not an impressive win.
  16. But you didn't think to mention it. So they both beat other when hurt...
  17. You do realize that Wyatt had a torn MCL when he was teched by Kerk in the exhibition match?
  18. The Masoumi that squeaked out a win over Kueter? And yes, Russians were there in 2023.
  19. In other news Gable Stevesons turf toe healed up enough last night so that he could win his MMA debut against an intoxicated television repairman.
  20. Yes, thanks. I looked it up on UWW and revised my post a minute or so later. I think he is fine physically and has FS experience. Just has been making poor decisions on the mat.
  21. U23 World Champ. I think U20 5th. People saying he doesn't have much freestyle experience, but he's been good enough to make two teams.
  22. Agreed, a bummer. I also was very underwhelmed by his win over a chunky 97kg Egyptian in RAF. Back to the other matches, he stood up on Hilger and was thrown for big points. That's not wrestling with nothing to lose. That's idiotic. Against Gable, there were times he would have given up four in free but folkstyle scrambled out. This happened at least once, maybe more. Listen, I'm a big Wyatt fan. A kid I coached was on the Air Force Academy team with him. I've always been a fan. I cheered loudly when he beat Gable. He has not looked good the last few times I have seen him.
  23. I think back to his match with Hilger and my friend who said "Great match! 34 points in a heavyweight match!" and my reply was something like "terrible match. Unless something improves drastically, no one who gave up double digit points to Hilger is going to medal at Worlds."
  24. That's great. I would have loved to have been 6'2 220 and ripped. My dad was aware of it. I didn't come close. Ask Kurt McHenry about winning cadet worlds at 91 lbs...
