There are more youth league fans than premier league fans strictly off pure numbers of competitors and their direct support/fans alone. There is more prestige higher up, but you cannot be a fan of the EPL if you were not at some point a fan youth soccer can you? I think we're beating a dead horse and are just going to have to agree to disagree. To me, pure numbers-wise, I don't see how there could be more fans and supporters for college folkstyle than there could be for our youth developmental system.

I am specifically talking about an experience I had in Akron years ago. My understanding is that it's much better now.

College isn't even king in the US. NCAA wrestling is nowhere near the most popular version of wrestling, even in the states. When has NCAA wrestling had THOUSANDS of wrestlers (and their fans) break a city because of too many competitors (and their fans/supporters) show up? When it comes to worldwide, there just isn't a conversation to be had.

There not being enough 118lbers is not the reason there is no 118lb weight class. Every weight class was increase by 7 pounds (118->125, 126->133, 134->141, etc) due to people actually killing themselves.

Wouldn't that be true for all feeder systems? There are more kids playing HS football than college. Just like there are more kids wrestling in HS and at high school events than collegiately... We will never have as many senior level athletes as we do college level athletes. That means less first tier supporters (moms/dads/significant others/etc).

If we're going to act like we're above UWW (and USAW) and ignore the weight classes that they already have, then we will forever struggle to simply just maintain. Sinclair hasn't cut weight, ever. Were he to be a weigh-cutter he would be a 165lber. For example, watching him and KOT roll and it appears that KOT is larger and longer. Still a 165lber being shorter is saying something, but I do think a different example would prove your point better.

It is. It is interchangeable with Crunchy or Creamy... Reese's creamy is probably the best, though - from personal preference. Also, depending on the flavor of the poptart, you can tweak the thickness of the PB layer. It's fire. My oldest grandson showed me this like 8 years ago.

Ha, no. While I believe that stronger Penn State wrestling ultimately benefits USA wrestling as a whole, I’m not a Penn Stater—nor am I a Penn State hater. I’m a fan of USA wrestling first and foremost. Beyond that, I root for Michigan kids (like Barr, Facundo, and Davis at Penn State; Edmond at Mizzou; and Swideriski at Iowa State/Central Michigan), Michigan colleges, and then the Big Ten/MAC conferences. I could keep going, but you get the idea. I might come across as a Penn Stater because of how much influence Cael and his coaching tree have on the direction of USA wrestling.

Oh absolutely. That said, the actual match itself was a *I poop my pants, don't laugh at me* match. Poorly wrestled on both sides. Neither of those wrestlers are contenders to win a title this year, if that is the version of themselves that show up at NCAAs.

If you're one of those, like me, who do not believe in no-win scenarios, then you believe anything is possible. Using the same logic I would use to say that yes, it is and was possible, I will also admit that it is possible for Cam Amine to beat both of them at 184lbs this year in an epic three-way wrestleoff.

I don't disagree in that Focus is and was the better wrestler. Results are results, though. Focus has zero victories over Glazier and Glazier has a victory over Focus. Also, how epic would it be for Angelo to bump and beat Glazier? Does SDSU face Iowa this year?
