  1. Here's another angle on improving MFS. Align the NCAA weights with the UWW weights. Our MFS team will be better because they will be used to wrestling the weights they wrestle.
  2. He's triggered? You are going off on every single thread about how evil DT is.
  3. I believe Correa is going to head down to 197lbs either way. I don't think he has to petition. I think he just has to claim the spot, being on the National Team gives him that right.
  4. Also going from 149 to 157 to 165. See above. White also put on pounds.
  5. I think Macch and Foster are the examples to use.
  6. Two medicals that he left on the table. We will never know because we only got to see him compete through his Soph season of eligibility.
  7. Lilledahl is going to double up and pull the Dake. 2024-25 - 125 2025-26 - 141 2026-27 - 157 2027-28 - 174 He is going to be massive.
  8. It would be badass to see nonetheless.
  9. You mean 25/26? Nevermind, I see what you did there. I agree.
  10. What about 'quite possibly' is incorrect? Did the word possible suddenly change meaning?
  11. Probably 4th grade. Also, let us be crystal clear... Starocci would not be going up ANY weight from the last weight he competed at. 86 KG is ~189.6lbs. I guess I am wrong. He would be going up ~0.4lbs from the last weight he competed at.
  12. I think MAX points, Barr is a contender for #2 at 184lbs. At 197lbs he is undersized and going to get trucked. MAX points, this is their best lineup: 125: Lilledahl 133: Davis 141: Bartlett 149: SVN 157: Kasak 165: Mesenbrink 174: Haines 184: Barr 197: Cstar HWT: Kerk If Amine, while being drastically undersized, can go up to 197lbs, get the #1 seed, and take 3rd - Starocci can win it. I don't mean this as a sleight to Amine, Starocci is quite possibly the #1 P4P Folkstyle wrestler we have ever seen.
  13. I mean... he called him out and conveniently waited until the final Stanza of a multi-page post on social media to mention that the weight needed to be 190lbs. I call that cowardice.
  14. I don't know that this needs to happen, though. Unless Sasso is lights out what he was before, jumping two weights and going against Mesenbrink is just a health hazard waiting to happen.
  15. The other potential factor is if all three are on the same side, or who fits where. DT could beat both enroute, and they wrestle for Bronze. DT could beat Sadulaev then lose to Ghasempour, which would make it so Sadulaev doesn't even wrestle for a medal.
  16. I don't think his data is, just that chart.
  17. Where is Bo Nickal at 184?
  18. Cons - DT is coming up in weight, I disagree on the 'part-time' part as I guarantee you that he will have a full, proper camp. If the version of DT we saw that pinned returning worlds medalist, a much younger (prime) and rested Valencia is out of shape, then the in-shape version is going to be a world beater. - Sadulaev could be considerably older. We'll never actually know. He is also coming off what used to be considered career ending surgery - Ghasempour is also coming off what used to be considered career ending surgery. DT hasn't had any career ending surgery aside for the whooping that got put on him by Brooks at OTT. I agree on the size thing, though. He is smaller. Albeit, Ghasempour was 86 KG and forced out. Sadulaev has been 97 KG and got CHONKY, so dropping back down to 92 KG (~202lbs) for the first time since 2016 Olympics (in which he was 86 KG) might not go so well for him.
  19. Their schedule is absolutely LIT.
  20. I said 190/197. I think we have had more unique/separate multi-time champs at the other weights.
  21. I will go first... Styles make matches and with how both Snyder and Yazdani have controlled Ghasempour, I just don't see how he has anything for Sadulaev. Mind you, that is assuming that Sadulaev is healthy. Taylor seemed to have a bit of trouble with that underhook from Thicclay. Mind you, he has handled Yazdani's underhook - the best in the game - for the better part of the last decade now, so I don't think that will pose him any problems at Worlds. So right there, I think it is Ghasempour - the only one to have won 92 KG Worlds - as 0W - 2L in this theoretical round robin. I am okay being wrong here, btw... but also consider that both Ghasempour and Sadulaev both have had some serious surgeries since they were last on the mat at Worlds/Olympics. That could play a factor as well.
  22. I am pretty stoked to get this thread here, if that is the intention. That said, how do we see 92 KG going at Worlds, assuming we see Taylor, Ghasempour, and Sadulaev all enter? Do we think one beats the other two or do we think we could see a A beats B beats C beats A sort of scenario?
  23. I don't know, man. Watching Facundo roll around with Ryder in various videos, then watching Facundo - Haines at OTT... Ryder will be massive at 174lbs and Haines will be about average sized - at best. Haines - O'Toole did not have anyone with a clear size advantage and, if anything, Haines was considerably more lean.
  24. He is the cream of the crop from M2. It was a joke, either way. I thought it was classless. A 17 year old can be corrected of that and I think he will be.
  25. Yeah. I punched my fone when he headbutt Pantaleo. I was ready to beat the living piss out of his dad and DT (with a baseball bat) over that bullshit.
