Greetings Gents... thought this would be cool/intersting to look at. Buckeyes for 2023/2024
nhs67 replied to MPhillips's topic in Ohio State University's Ohio State Wrestling 2022/2023
Kharchla is hurt right now. Mild injury, apparently? Although if it is from U23s, it looked more than mild... especially if he is still rehabbing/recovery. If the plan is for Hoffman to go down to 184, why wouldn't Shumate go up to 197 now? He can always drop again next season after Hoffman is gone (or perhaps Welsh goes up to 184 next year and takes the spot?). -
Reminder - mat side weigh ins are the way to go

For a non-revenue sport I don't think there will be much traction for anything until something drastically negative happens (again). -
Best Pizza I have ever had? A hole in the wall place called Roma Pizza in Torrington, CT. It isn't even close. The tacos? That one is close. This one isn't. What is interesting is that there is a Roma Pizza here in Miami. The owners are childhood friends with the Roma Pizza up there. They have the same exact recipes for everything. I like the pizza here. The pizza up there is all-time. It's the water, or so both owners say.

I interact regularly with him. I don't always come out the gate at him like that, for obvious reasons, but I was stupid annoyed. Spey isn't so bad, typically. Not publicly, at least.
-
I actually like most of them. Not necessarily on a personal level, but as entertainment and wrestling minds. What those cu...turdbiscuits did to Brain is unacceptable on a base, moral level and was bad for the sport of wrestling. Kozak is obviously my favorite. I wouldn't want to be scolded by him. Spey, though? He just doesn't want to take the 'L' there, so he is playing the 'adult' card (might be appropriate at that, too... j/s...).
-
You can ignore the latter part. Obviously I was trying to adult.
-
Also, apparently when you pay for your subscription to Flo, it does not include Floarena - per Spey.

I have eaten tacos in Austin, El Paso, Elle Aye, and Albuquerque. I never said they weren't good. I said they weren't the best I had. Top 10? Probably. Would you be even more upset if I told you the best I ever had was at some corner store at a four way in the middle of a field near Alma, Michigan thirty years ago? They were proper Mexican and all they served were tacos to the migrant workers there. I felt brave one day and I have been striving for that excellence ever since. Tampa has some good trucks. Of the four cities I listed above, Elle Aye is the worst of them. El Paso probably the best. Austin and Albu are toss-ups.

Mongolia comes to mind, although it is nearly an entirely different style of wrestling. Japan has Sumo. India has a style of slap wrestling that they do. It's weird.

If he can get off bottom he could be a brute at any weight class.

I wife laughed at that when someone said that to her. Comparing it to Detroit(Flint) or basically any Miami 'burb is just laughable. Unless it is a term used for cyclists. I could see how some chubby guys would hate to ride the area. Otherwise it's quite gentle. We love the food there. A great diversity of cultures in any direction you go. Add in that I can basically get anywhere I need to within twenty minutes and it's a solid location. If you're ever in/near the area and you like good, authentic Mexican tacos, the second best I have ever had are from a small corner store called Grocery La Paz at the corner of Olive St and Crown St in Meriden. I will be getting some the next time I am in town, for sure. I have been thinking about tacos since Tuesday when my favorite truck decided it wasn't going to be open on Tuesdays anymore (I just found out about it this week... what kind of an 'Authentic Mexican' truck isn't open on Tuesdays?!).

I saw red. My apologies - you did have it covered. Appreciate it. Like how Feldman looked? Geog didn't grow as much as I had hoped... he looks like a regular 184lber to me.
