  1. Greetings All, Quickly put this together. All 'Ratings' are via Wrestlestat and are just that - RATINGS. I didn't use Wrestlestat's lineup as some of those guys aren't even listed on their rosters and are listed at different weights than on Wrestlestat... That said... here you go. #22 Campbell WT - Rank Name - Class, 22/23 Record, Result(Notes) 125 - #50 Anthony Molton - JR, 13W-9L, 1W-2L @ SOCON 133 - #16 Domenic Zaccone - JR, 21W-7L, 1W-2L @ NCAA 141 - #38(149) Chris Rivera - JR, 11W-13L, 3W-1L @ SOCON (@149) 149 - #65 Justin Rivera - JR, 0W-0L, (11W-1L during RS @ 149/2021-22) 157 - #147 Hagen Heistand - FR, 12W-7L, Redshirt 165 - #54(157) Troy Nation - SR, 14W-7L, 3W-1L @ SOCON 174 - #31 Austin Murphy - SR, 0W-0L, (2W-1L @ SOCON 2021-22, R12 2020-21) 184 - #23 Caleb Hopkins - SR, 19W-10L, 0W-2L @ NCAA 197 - #16 Levi Hopkins - SR, 25W-10L, 1W-2L @ NCAA 285 - #13 Taye Ghadiali - SR, 27W-5L, 1W-2L @ NCAA #24 Army WT - Rank Name - Class, 22/23 Record, Result(Notes) 125 - #28 Ethan Berginc - SO, 27W-8L, 0W-2L @ NCAA 133 - #58 Ryan Franco - SO, 22W-11L, N/A (1W-3L in duals) 141 - #62 Richard Treanor - JR, 14W-15L, 1W-2L @ EIWA 149 - #28 Trae McDaniel - SO, 32W-11L, 4W-2L @ EIWA 157 - #36 Nathan Lukez - SR, 20W-14L, 0W-2L @ NCAAs 165 - #42 Dalton Harkins - JR, 18W-14L, 3W-3L @ EIWA 174 - #15 Ben Pasiuk - SR, 23W-7L, 1W-2L @ NCAA 184 - #94 Cole Karpinski - SO, 5W-7L, N/A (No dual starts) 197 - #103(184) Daniel Lawrence - SR, 12W-13L, 2W-3L @ EIWA 285 - #70 Austin Kohlofer - SO, 10W-8L, 2L-3L @ EIWA https://www.wrestlestat.com/compare/perma/663/campbell-vs-army-west-point I think this is favoring Army a bit unfairly in a few weights. I do think Zaccone at 133 and Rivera at 141 should be favored, despite the Wrestlestat algorythm favoring the other gent. On the other end of the spectrum I don't see Murphy beating Pasiuk at 174. I do think the Alaskan brothers Caleb and Levi Hopkins can push for bonus and that might be the separation that is needed for this. Add in the Ghadiali is one of my sleepers for AA at 285 and that he might push for bonus (deckfall anyone?) and I do think Campbell ends up taking this one. I will say one of the Hopkins gets the bonus, as does Pasiak. That puts it at 16-13 heading into the HWT match and Ghadiali gets the fall. Prediction: Campbell over Army 19-16
  2. Can you make my skin more dark? I am far too white there (meaning I am not white at all). Also, love it!
  3. The actual numbers prove it. We've been through this several times over the last decade. I haven't looked at this year's Worlds, however a year or three ago someone took all the numbers that were traceable from the prior entire cycle (or two?) and Greco had the most overall participants every year.
  4. So they were lobbied in for Worlds then removed again? So Dake gets the Gold now?
  5. Sold! Keep it the way it is, then. My thinking has always been to combine the weights to be the same and then change our collegiate weight classes to mirror those of the International styles. That way we can get more in to Greco. That said, I see what you're saying now. 55, 57, 60, 61, 63, 65, 67, 70, 72, 74, 77, 79, 82, 86, 87, 92, 97, 97, 125, 130 Wouldn't this then make more sense from a 'Tweener' standpoint? I do wish it would scale up linearly for each style... which means I am now whinging... 55, 57, 59, 61, 63, 65, 67, 69, 71, 74, 77, 80, 83, 86, 89, 92, 95, 98, 125, 130 Meaning: 55 - 57 59 - 61 63 - 65 67 - 69 71 - 74 77 - 80 83 - 86 89 - 92 96 - 100 125 - 130 Pick left for FS or GR and right for the other.
  6. I don't know how welcome he would be at CKWC. Coon, Parris, and Davison all get real chippy with him.
  7. Can you focus on the first part of that post? I want to know why it makes more sense to have different weights.
  8. I would love to be educated on this. Please explain. Whinging literally means 'bitching to bitch' so well done there. Also, you selectively picked what you picked to whing - by definition. That is what you did. It's there for everyone to see.
  9. We haven't seen a Schultzy with a focus on anything other than Greco since he has gotten in college. I won't write him off because of that. Especially with the successes he has had in Folkstyle while focusing on Greco as well. Many things he does will translate over well and could help his Folkstyle a bit, too. I won't pick him nor do I actually think we see him leave Greco for Freestyle... I just think he would absolutely be a factor. He is probably the physically strongest Ox we have on our circuit right now.
  10. I actually apologized for saying this in a prior post. I still think it would be cool... but even so... we heard your peace. I agreed with you on it, in the end - as it were. It is because there is a Men's and Women's Freestyle and only a Men's Greco. They aren't going to add Women's Greco. Why don't you quite the entire post rather than select what you want to piss and moan about. When you do that all you are doing is whinging. Bitching to bitch.
  11. Their press release completely dogs on McGregoat and looks unprofessional AF. Like a shunned side piece that can't get a piece anymore so she just wants to dog on the prettier lady-friend.
  12. You have never beat the coach to the practice room and it shows. Many snow-ball fights happened.
  13. He's the one who said he was unhappy with Greco leadership and was considering a different path moving forward. I didn't say it for him. What other path is there for him, if he stays wrestling? Calling it quits after Folkstyle? I don't buy it. The guy has Olympic aspirations. And don't think for one second that he wouldn't absolutely be a factor, were Gable to not give it a go. He has the size and horsepower. Let him focus on Freestyle for the year while spot-starting for ASU in Folkstyle and I would absolutely be a factor.
  14. I may have started that movement here. I apologize. If it means more exposure, though... bring it. All for it.
  15. Does he have D1 aspirations? Will he do his 2 (3) years then look at a place like Michigan State? You can be an undersized 125lber at the JUCO level. He needs some serious growth to succeed higher.
  16. Me. Last word.
  17. They could also just vote the rught way and Bobbo would still win?
  18. It would be an entirely new project, I think. Meaning do the exact same thing, just based on the school. Obviously you don't have a 70% chance to improve on a #1 seed, but I am sure you can figure that out. IWknWT. Then perhaps simply averaging the two could give us an interesting bit of data to view too.
  19. Curious question, Ser... When you do the 'expected AA' portion you are doing it per the average performance for their seed (current rank), correct? What if you were to skew based off of school performance as well? How does it then look?
  20. I am not saying you can do that. I am also not saying the you cannot do that.
  21. I think we are closer to seeing Greco dropped from the Olympics than we are seeing Greco added for women's. We are probably closer to seeing weights dropped than we are to seeing weights added. I think if Greco is dropped from the Olympics we would end up going to seven (7) weights per gender. I then think the UWW will completely fckn botch it and make it like 70 KG or some stupid shit rather than redraw the weights for the Olympics. In that 'perfect' world with the weights being redrawn (for Olymipcs) I would prefer to see something like 60-66-72-81-90-100-130 as the weights for Men and 50, 54, 59, 65, 72, 80 for Women. It increments up appropriately for each style. It then allows us to restructure the other weights (55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 100, 130 & 47, 50, 54, 58, 62, 66, 70, 75, 80, 100 respectively) and add Greco for women, and have both styles for both genders to be the same weights... it baffles me why Greco and Freestyle do not have the same weights. It is stupid.
  22. I think we can give you the two, being as the NCAA has abandoned it. Just don't ask for three.
