  1. Valencia just beat that guy a few months ago.
  2. If he loses the challenge it is 4-3 for Iran with 1m21s left.
  3. Snyder pushes him out... and he calls one blue? Red challenging that one. Snyder did step out earlier in the sequence, but reset, so I think that is what the ref is calling.
  4. Azarpira powers a takedown of his own... 3-2 with 2m5s to go.
  5. Snyder in deep on a single... gets it high... he is trying to get two out of this... gets it on the edge - up 3-0 with 2m24s to go.
  6. Looks like they are moving Parris' match to Mat B after Snyder's match.
  7. Parris has Meshvildishvili of Azerbaijan in his Bronze medal match after Snyder's match on Mat A. He beat Zillmer 5-4 last year.
  8. Ghasempour won his Bronze medal match 3-1 against Turkey. Snyder Teched that gent from Turkey with relative ease.
  9. Snyder up against Azarpira of Iran on Mat A now.
  10. Vicky 'Chonkzilla' Vicky giving Trumble all he can handle. 8-5 victory for Trumble. A takedown as time expired made the score closer than it actually was.
  11. I swear we have seen it, at least domestically, called negative wrestling rather recently. It boggles my mind that they'll just allow them to not actually wrestle. I might even be crossing styles, now that I think about it. It might be a Folkstyle thing I am thinking of.
  12. Jackson with the Pin in the finals. Not sure what Margishvili was trying there.
  13. You have to 'show' effort at turning or you'll get penalized.
  14. 56S left Schultz is down 8-4 to Maisuradze of Georgia in the Bronze medal match.
  15. Nokhodi takes the entire second period to do absolutely nothing except run. Wins the match 6-0 for Gold over Kentchadze.
  16. Kentchadze getting ragdolled here by Nokhodi. Down 6-0 at the break.
  17. As an aside: Did the AD accept Anthony?
  18. I voted 'NO' but I might change my mind. I believe he will be ready to go and if the dual is on the line, he goes. I think that Iowa is going to use him in the five most high profile duals left, and Nebraska is one of them. That leaves - Michigan - Penn State - Oklahoma State No other school will challenge Iowa in a dual. That means let him go to get competition against the other top guys. Throw Illinois in there. Minnesota has a solid young guy in Tabor as well. I think those will be the five 'attached' competitions that he wrestles... UNLESS the dual is in the balance. Both Hill and Kueter suit up, though. Keep in mind it is the second semester, so they can send Kueter to opens unattached now to get his feet wet.
  19. Word is Ragusin is off Redshirt and will be on the mat against Maryland. This either means that Cannon is injured and will be taking a medical or that Ragusin beat him out and Cannon is going up to challenge Lemley.
