  1. tOSU backup 184lber up 6-2 at the break on OSU's Carroll in the 92 KG 3rd place match.
  2. Recent Wiscy recruit and 2x D3 Natty Daddy won the 97 KG spot for U23s with relative ease. He only allowed one point all weekend and it was in a 7-1 Decision victory over former Focus rival Nick Stemmet in the semi-finals.
  3. Kennedy outscored Ramirez 20-0 in ~4M30S in the Bo3 finals at 79 KG.
  4. Anyone wrestle more than 13 matches this weekend? Anyone win more than 11 matches this weekend? Voelker went 6W - 0L at 97 KG in his U23 MGR run to make the team there. He then went 5W - 2L (including a victory over OSU's Carroll) en route to a 92 KG Silver in MFS for U23s.
  5. Some folks called me batshit for suggesting Rocky to 285lbs. I think Hawkes to 197 and Sinclair to 184 makes more sense for points at NCAA, though.
  6. The only way to do an accurate round robin is to allow it to be at the only weight in which Snyder was an all-timer: 97 KG. We already now what Sadulaev does to Snyder - not even a discussion. In Freestyle, I don't think a match goes any better for Sanderson. He struggled a lot in Freestyle, even losing to gents he would dominate in folkstyle domestically.
  7. He doesn't train to compete. He's old. I am 30 years away from my competition days, and I can still throw around guys who are 30lbs heavier and going on to D1/D2 competition. Edit: In practice, mind you. That said, if the guys in the room are the ones saying it, then there really isn't an argument to be had against it. I don't makes the rules.
  8. Being that the word from everyone who has said anything about 'in the room' action as far as now goes - Sanderson NOW owns the room against what should be the best version of Snyder EVER.
  9. I would say that with the facts that are known, it is a high likelihood of truth being probable.
  10. It's a bloody history there with that. Not trying to trick you here, but google Banana Wars. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_Wars
  11. Oh please - pray tell. There is largely a difference in that this was clearly a spoof thread after another like-minded thread. The older one might have been a smear campaign from the get-go.
  12. He wrestled 133 at Michigan. He never wrestled 141lbs in college.
  13. It disgusted me, but I pressed the Bob Dole button on this one. The CinnyJimmacon has a point here.
  14. Another year in the room with Slav will help him more than getting reps as the #1 at a MAC program. He will be their guy after Slav.
  15. Badass. That makes it a Valencia as the odd man out?
  16. Honestly, the same can be said (sans the 'two best guys' bit) about Pettigrew yeah? They have killed the portal the last few years.
  17. I agree. That said the only one it could matter for seeding purposes would have been Dake. Lee, Retherford, and Brooks aren't getting seeded either way.
  18. Cruz and Silva having a defacto wrestleoff? I will be more than a little annoyed if Cruz is not the guy for Puerto Rico. He earned it.
  19. Looks like Heeg to Northern Colorado. They have a solid dual team. Only a hole at 141/149 (wherever Alirez isn't) and HWT, potentially.
  20. I do hope that we see Masoumi - Geno. I also hope that Parris gets to face both, but all three matches can't happen unless Parris loses to one of them - which I don't want to happen. So that said, I want to see Masoumi - Geno, then Parris vs the winner either in the semi-final of finals.
  21. They just brought in another Cubano at 125lbs.
  22. I thoughf 141 was a dumb idea for him. He believed he was a contender, though. 165 for 24-25 is just too much. He would need that redshirt. He is impatient, though. I am also curious where Rojas shakes out here. I thought the idea was 165lbs for him this next year
  23. Pretty stoked by this. I think it's a bigger chance we see Swiderski attempt the growth to 165lbs... curious on that one for sure...
