  1. Just when Faux Jimmy 2 was becoming a 1% tolerable poster, he goes and pulls this.
  2. The logical side of me says 16-16 and coming down to criteria... but the other side of me says we see something big happen that we did not expect.
  3. Distinct underdog? I think most projections are 5 -5 in matches with bonus being the difference maker.
  4. Yep - or in other words, round 1.
  5. I would think that has kept his cardio up in the meantime.... If he got cleared last week he gets about 3 weeks on the mat until conference and 5 weeks until the NCAA. Is that enough time to get ready?
  6. I think he goes #2 - Little is 3-0 in conference - AJ 2-0 and Munoz 1-0.
  7. Who thought he could make it this far? Skips Oregon State dual (Munoz didn't wrestle either) - skips LR match with Little- Wrestles last night and wins by TF
  8. When he was riding Seymour, he came down twice in row intentionally with his knee on Seymour's ankle. The ref penalized him for it and the Lehigh crowd was not happy. Seymour limped around the rest of the match. Then after the match, Figs has his usual antics. You can watch the replay on Flo.
  9. You must have missed the PSU Maryland dual... there was a Basch @Husker_Du segment on how terrible it was....and no it wasn't just a mispronounced name. It's been more than just one instance this season. Young kids are not prepared for big10 wrestling announcing...not necessarily their fault.... but it was a disaster.
  10. Lehigh having their way with ASU.... FIgs with some cheap wrestling. And it's being live streamed on Flo
  11. How dare we pay for a service and expect mediocre.
  12. The real fun will be Ferrari's posts....
  13. No program is going to pay a guy more who doesn't AA either. As a side related side note, you dont' think Bob would pay AJ next year if he can get into Iowa?
  14. Not wrestling could hurt NIL, but he could also hurt his future NIL by not AA or having a bad showing. He hasn't wrestled much, he has one top 20 match on his resume and if he wrestles this Friday it will be the first time in about a month. All signs point toward an unprepared and unsuccessful post-season. He has stayed out of trouble, stayed eligible, wrestled some matches. It's what his next university wants to see from him to be able to gain entrance.
  15. I would not be surprised if he is done for this season.
  16. Definitely in.... I always lead on Day 1.... can't break my streak now.
  17. Yep - I agree. Conference records go: Little 3-0, Munoz 1-0, Ferrari 0-0, Hodges 0-2
  18. He was pretty tired from that barbell Tik Tok workout. Needs a couple more weeks. Hoping he doesn't get the #1 seed at the Pac 12 so he has to go through Munoz and Little to win the conference.
  19. 125 Richard Figueroa (Arizona State) over Antonio Lorenzo (Oklahoma) (Dec 5-2) 133 Cleveland Belton (Oklahoma) over Unknown (For.) 141 Mosha Schwartz (Oklahoma) over Emilio Ysaguirre Jr (Arizona State) (Dec 5-4) 149 Willie McDougald (Oklahoma) over Pierson Manville (Arizona State) (SV-1 4-1) 157 Landyn Sommer (Oklahoma) over Michael Kilic (Arizona State) (Dec 11-5) 165 Tate Picklo (Oklahoma) over Austin Scott (Arizona State) (TF 19-4 6:08) 174 Gaven Sax (Oklahoma) over Joseph Manfredi (Arizona State) (MD 18-9) 184 Deanthony Parker Jr (Oklahoma) over Shay Addison (Arizona State) (MD 14-3) 197 Eli Cordy (Oklahoma) over Jacob Meissner (Arizona State) (MD 15-2) 285 Cohlton Schultz (Arizona State) over Juan Mora (Oklahoma) (TB-2 5-2)
  20. So the waiver is only one year this time? Did they change that? Last time it was for two years - 2018 and 2019 they had only 5 teams - Little Rock joined in Fall of 2019. https://ualr.edu/news-archive/2019/05/24/wrestling/ "The Pac-12 Conference dropped from six members to five after Boise State discontinued its wrestling program after the 2017 season. While the NCAA requires a conference to have at least six active members that sponsor the applicable sport to be eligible for automatic qualification in the NCAA Championships, it does provide a two-year transition period to allow for a conference to secure a sixth member." Does the conference only getting a champ come into play after the waiver/transition period is over or do they not get any qualifiers? Or how does that work?
  21. Yeah, I had the same thoughts. I was surprise Yas beat Saunders. Chlebove really needed that win.
  22. Hmmm.... They are on a 2 year waiver for only having 4 teams... this happened a few years ago before Little Rock joined and they only got the champs and everyone else went into the at-large. I am hearing the same for this year.
