  1. Poly makes sense to go back home... but Carrol to Wyoming is a bit of a surprise. Branch may be able to do some good things with him. Glad to see they are getting someone instead of losing good kids they have turned into AA.
  2. bump... $134,487 raised 776 gifts
  3. Doesn't make sense from an educational standpoint if he hasn't finished his degree. This is his 3rd year at Stanford and it's difficult to finish in 3 years unless he has packed his summers with classes as well.
  4. Bump - $127,837 raised 658 gifts
  5. As of this morning.... $ 118,447 raised 549 gifts
  6. Bakersfield is a self supported program that has to fundraise more than any other team to keep afloat. Yeah, I don't think there are many CSUB fans on the board, but it's a program that needs help from the fan base. Give day ends at 12:00 pm PT today.
  7. Scubas to ASU. At least a little good news
  8. Nope - He's in on a shot - nothing was potentially dangerous there. It happens.
  9. Not potentially dangerous: https://www.flowrestling.org/video/13961288-r16-149-lb-ethan-stiles-oregon-state-vs-kyle-parco-iowa
  10. He spent his first two years in another state, then moved to PA and won two state titles for Trinity in 85/86 and 86/87. Went on to PSU where I believe he was a 2x AA. Good guy.
  11. Is reverse NIL a thing.... where you pay people to leave?
  12. Minnow saying that it's official...but his track record isn't best recently. If true, the next surprise should be Spencer Lee to Ok State as an assistant and training there.
  13. If you wrestled Prescott, then did you did you ever wrestled my buddy Bob Truby?
  14. What about when programs who develop them and got them to where they are?
  15. He said it last year and last week... Richard Figueroa ll. @stunnamanrich. Mar 23. Stunna day in Tempe I’ll be back don’t trip
  16. Probably so...much better than 2023. You usually see 27 "I told you so" posts when he is correct. This one is bigger than most because Minnow is a Jersey guy who likes Rutgers and promotes them a lot. This one has to sting more than others. He is already posting that Figs was offered twice the NIL to stay at ASU but turned it down. Let's see if he gets boiled here.
  17. Oh the pride of having "information" when it doesn't work out.
  18. The 2 SJB guys from the 25 class did not sign with ASU. Carrillo in the 26 class is committed to Oregon State. Zahid left. I’m not sure how strong those ties are now. They do have some tough kids coming in, but they are in rebuild mode now.
  19. Figs officially in the portal now. With Figs leaving, This ends the ASU run that had some good success. It’s been a rough two years for ASU. Forks are down. RIP
  20. Not Iowa... OK St interested.
  21. Being reported that Figs will be entering the portal
  22. Oregon State.... Estimated Costs - Corvallis Campus 2025-2026 Estimated Resident Undergraduate 2025-2026 Estimated Non-Resident Undergraduate Expense 3 Terms Tuition and Fees (15 CR)1 $40,392 Living Expenses (Food and Housing)2 $17,205 Estimated Billable Cost Total $57,597 Books, Course Materials, Supplies, and Equipment $600 Personal and Miscellaneous $2,817 Transportation $879 Estimated Non-Billable Cost Total $4,296 Estimated TOTAL $61,893
  23. If NIL deals are anything like the portal, I am sure there are ways around it.
  24. For a guy who has never been an AA.... we don't even raise that amount on our biggest fundraiser of the year....must be nice to do this every year for your low tier guys.
  25. I don't think this is a simple answer. First, a majority of wrestlers are sought by the 3rd party of the school, not the wrestler seeking out the school. Notice I said majority, not all. What level of schools are we talking about? This varies depending on the school. If you have a lot of NIL money, the loyalty factor goes down because If you need an upgrade at a weight, you just go out and pay for the guy. If you don't have money to do that, the program has greater loyalty because they need to focus more on development and use that as a means to keep them. I think you see mid-low tier teams stick with their guys more to develop them because they have to.
