    ACC football is not as bad as you are making it out to be. Florida State, Pitt, UNC, Wake Forest, NC State, Miami, Louisville, Syracuse have all been ranked in the last couple years.

    My HM's from last season would be Carson Kharchla, Josh Humphreys, Sammy Sasso, Isaiah Salazar, Pat McKee & Pat Glory.

    Ryan Deakin, Hayden Hidlay (at 157) & Sam Latona (at both 125 & 133) are a few others that have always looked massive to me.

    If he gets hit for stalling could he not just cut his opponent and get another takedown? Starrocci is probably the last guy I’m cheering for in NCAA’s but he’s very capable in neutral and has no problem getting away. He isn’t squeaking out a bunch of wins by RT.

    I think freshman and sophomore year versions of Carter spent more time stalling. This year he really just pounded everyone outside of one close match with Nelson Brands.

    I agree with you there. He looked like an average sized 157 pounder with country boy strength.

    If Messenbrink transfers in, I think he beats Facundo out for the spot. The whole “Haines is moving up to 165 next year” thing has kind of been debunked. He has stated that he doesn’t have a hard cut at all and walks around at 165.

    Mark Sindlinger was a three year starter for the Iowa football team and a 2x AA for the wrestling team.

    Spencer Lee has entered the US Open at 57kg

    Broc Berge started at Iowa and transferred to Minny. Lance Benick started at ASU and transferred to Augsburg. Steveson did not live up to the hype although I’m not sure where he was ranked coming out of high school. He did qualify for NCAA’s once and dealt with some injury problems.

    I believe Jake Bergeland was a senior last year when he won the starting spot for the first time and AA’d. But he also got a free Covid year and thus competed this year as well.

    Agreed. Also, Lugo wrestles 65kg for the HWC so this allows them to represent two different weight classes.
