You're right. I have almost no experience with braces. Nor do I care to. If questions about braces come up, I'll refer them to you. But the science is clear in terms of masks. Masks work as shields from airborne particles. The ability for masks to shield particles is highly dependent on how well they are designed and made. Lower level masks - made out of t-shirts by 7th graders in sewing class are limited in their ability to protect. Mid-level masks - the ones used by construction workers to filter out cement dust, sheetrock dust, etc. they work effectively for their purpose. High level masks - the ones used by surgeons in operating rooms, and the one used by medical researchers studying things like Ebola outbreaks - are EXTREMELY capable of blocking airborne particles. MASKS WORK. The question isn't (and has NEVER been) if masks work - they work. As long as the right mask is used for the job. Thankfully, the Covid pandemic is over and we don't need to worry about masks for now. It was an ugly time that I don't care to revisit.

You're exactly right here - it's about 3rd party sources being blocked. In other words if you're communicating with a web site - you are the 1st person. The web site is the 2nd person. When, along the way, the web site (2nd person) decides to bring in video from an ad server you have no awareness of (3rd person) to show you, your browser decides it should be blocked because it isn't part of the 1st to 2nd person conversation. In other words, your browser is your best friend and just did you a favor. You can change the way your browser is configured to allow more 3rd party intervention... but I wouldn't. And I wouldn't recommend encouraging others do it either. It's a matter of privacy and security setting strength - don't change the settings to make these things weaker. That's bad. Let your web site provider know about your problem. Require them adjust to modern security standards, not the other way around. Contribute to making the web better.

What IS A BIG DEAL, is the difference between what Texans and southerners do, and what they pretend to do when they are arguing about the "Crisis" at the border. Based on your post, it appears the "Crisis" at the border is that they've got more hard working and low paid workers than they can currently put to work. And some may actually "act up" when they have no work or pay. That is, indeed, a wealthy man's crisis.

Don't be silly - we've had people illegally crossing the US/Mexico border as long as any of us can remember. It's not new. It's not a Biden vs Trump topic. It's not a R vs D topic. It's just the way it has been for a long time. These migrants have been working doing field work, landscaping, gardening - as well as restaurant work, hotel work, etc. in places like Trump's golf courses and resorts. Nothing that we don't all already know. And none of this is in dispute, at all. We ALL know illegal immigrants are working in the US and have for many decades. You must have been suckered into believe it is a "crisis" as the R's have been continually beating the drum about. If it is a crisis, it's been a crisis that has been going on our entire lifetimes. Your last statement "Why should we allow these people into our country?" is a good question. The answer is that we have for a very, very long time because they work hard for very little pay. That helps rich people get richer. And making money off the hard labor of other people has always been America's most proven path to more wealth. Always.
